You can't make it mandatory, people like me wouldn't vote. I didn't vote last time cause between Kerry and Bush, we were **ed either way. (ok, Kerry would have been much better, but it's always easy to say that after the fact) The tax break wouldn't help much either, it would make it a money issue, not a political issue. Voting just to vote s the system up. 3. I very much agree with this, and how about adding no bull** about what they have done in the past? If your going to vote for someone you should have already checked on what kind of person they are. 4. I think each vote should count for one vote only. Last time it took two of us here in WV to match one vote in Va. 5. Yep.

That he predicted it just reflects on his knowledge of the political system, it works that way all over the place. Our public needs to become more socially responsible, starting with those who are aware doing such simple things as spreading awareness to those who aren't, or start accepting their own fault in the shaping of culture.

Obviously you don't understand that the political system as it is had just been created so there was no history to draw that prediction from. It was based on his knowledge of human nature.

You would then see that his thoughts were not generalizations on the future. After that you can head over to a dictionary and look up the term tightwad and see how you misused it.
