I used to work at a BK on night shift, and there were only two of us. One cashier and me in the back. Many times I had to stop washing the broiler and make an order, ever tried to put on latex gloves with wet hands? It cant be done I tell you! Most of the time you just made it and hoped the person didn't' see you. Then again, there were the assholes. Not the people who thought the fries were cold. There was this one ****nut that came up to the register and started cussing at us for not having his shrimp salad, which our BK didn't have. We tried to explain that we weren't part of BK, we were a travel plaza, and HMShost bought the name. We had mostly the same stuff, but some of the items we couldn't get. He starts cussing more, bla bla bla. So we get him to buy something else. He brings it back and wants it made fresh, which it was to begin with. No big deal, I'll remake it to get him out of the way. Then he brings it back a third time and asks me to come out, I do and he tosses it at me and says to make it hotter. I'm ****ed by this point, and even the manager gives me "the nod". I won't do this, but Lee, now he makes the Astro Burger. An astro burger is when you wipe your ass with the frozen meat patty, then cook it. After it's cooked you dip it in the pickle juice. While that's sitting you spit up a lugy in the mayo, and add anyway, just more nasty stuff goes on the burger, and after it's wrapped up you put it in the microwave for about 1 min to make everything soggy. I shutter every time I think about it. We never saw the guy again. |

Do you guys know that you can go to prison for tampering with food like that. Very uncool even if the guy was an ass. |

That time he finaly over did it when me and the cashier were covered in salad and dressing, and that wasn't the first time we had something tossed our way by him. (besides, lee cooked it all after he got done with it) Anyway, I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't risk loosing my food handlers card for chef school. Lee was a siko that did that crap anyway to the cops and stuff. I never did it and some people, like the cops, knew it and always asked me to make their stuff. Thats how I got out of a few speeding tickets...good thing I make friends with state troopers. :-) The only time I ever speed is when I get a different car, then I want to see how fast it can go, one let me off cause he didn't belive I had the balls to take an old oldsmobile 88 to over 120mph. Big deal. The worst I've ever done to a customer myself is use an old bun or something. Or if they are an ass while asking for extra stuff I put an insane amount on it. This one lady (well, not a lady) asked for extra cheese, and to make sure I "put on the ****ing extra cheese". There was so much on it that I had to wrap it twice. Good news though, Lee and the manager that let him get away with it were fired not long before I left. |
