RE: wow you guys killed it....

I am not married! The guy in the picture is my wonderfully cool boyfriend! He also hates country music!

So, should I assume that you eat granola for breakfast, drive a hybrid, wear Birkenstocks, The North Face, and Patagonia?

RE: RE: wow you guys killed it....

lol GUW!!! I'm not too big on the taste of cardboard so that's a no on the granola. I've never owned a pair of burkenstock sandals (although when it's warm enough you wont catch me anywhere near a pair of socks or shoes, when and where I can I'll go barefoot). I actually bought a new car the other day (well used, but new to me), it's a 1993 Honda Prelude SI (non 4WS), I'd LOVE to move over to something that's more fuel efficient, unfortunately though being young and in college I'm somewhat short on the fundage for that. Plus, my Prelude is just too much ****ing fun, I never took a look at preludes before but as soon as I drove one I instantly fell in love with it.

I didn't know that The North Face was part of peoples "hippi list", I use to own a North Face jacket for when I went snowboarding. I didn't even have a preference for brand names, I put the coat on and it kept me warm and it was wayyyyy comfortable. Alas, unfortunately this is another item that I left in Stockholm =(

I've never heard of Patagonia before but I just checked out their website. I know that a lot of things I do may rub off as "hippi'ish", but I'm not trying to give myself that appearance on purpose. "Peace and love" is something that I always try to say wherever I get the chance to so that others wont ever forget those two great words.

I feel that too many people live their lives in fear of others, and just plain out living their lives in fear of anything. There's nothing good that comes from feeling hate for other people, if you hate them then most likely they're going to hate you back, however if you show love to them even though they may hate you, it could show them an example of the way things SHOULD be, this could cause the tiniest chain reaction towards making a better world (ok, I don't HATE christians or country music lovers, I simply feel that it's tearing people apart). Although some of the things that I do in life push me into a hypocritical status towards the things that I say, I'm striving to change myself towards these goals.

As far as my Marijuana usage goes in relation to "hippitism-um", I do feel that in its usage that I become closer to the earth and my surroundings, it makes me feel connected to the earth in a very spiritual way. So if you'd like to chalk that one up to the hippi list then so be it =P.

peace and love

...uh...I was just saying that because you sterotyped my Okieness...I have actually owned some Patagonia, my ex-husband had a kick-butt The North Face Gortex suit thingy, and I just thought of stuff that people from Colorado might own!

As far as the Prelude, Hondas are just the bomb. I have owned a Civic, an Accord, an S2000, and an Odyssey!

RE: RE: wow you guys killed it....

You will never come out ahead when you write "we can better our ways of life by keeping an open mind" at the end of a post where you have just used prejudice, generalizations, and stereotypes to describe a group of people you loathe.

Religion and the south are not merging with one another. They have always been connected.

What is keeping Bush in office is his 4 year term.

Country music and religion are not preventing the advancement of mankind. Your statement applies that humans have been bettering itself until country music and religion came on the scene. There is no evidence that humans as a species have advanced any amount in all of known history. We have advanced our abilities to do things but we are still as barbaric as the first civilization.

We are not in new times. Every generation thinks it is "new times" when they come of age.

You will find that as you get older, the main thing that changes about you is your age. You do not suddenly stop liking things that you did when you were a kid. In twenty years you will think back and laugh about your notion that 40 year olds are "outside of the box" if they like modern things.

To answer impersonator:
1. I'd like to think so. Never done it never will, would not change if it was legal. This does not mean I wage war with those that do pot, nor thing they are evil heartless terrorists (those are the republicans) Honestly, it may as well be legal with the amount of usage.
2. FOE
3. Naw, Oddtodd is the best but he doesn't have the motivation (plus he'll have a hardcore job if he makes it big.) But I doubt he'd become peanutbutter.
4. Hell if I know if SHE will find HER shoes.
5. It's in GUW's missing left shoe.
6. No, he'd have to tear down one of a naked Ashton Kutcher.
7. Martha Stewart
