Title XI

I beg to differ on this issue. Title XI is nothing more than a crutch. After viewing the shipbuilding majors recent performance on both commercial and particularly military contracts all forms of "welfare" should be terminated including the antiquated provisions of the Jones Act requiring US flag domestic tonnage to be built in US yards. Wake up and smell the roses, even Vietnam can now build ships better, cheaper and more efficiently than here. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the US Coast Guards open bidding for their patrol vessel program. Would you care for "cheese" with that whine? "Cheese" being the keyword.

Funding needed now

Funding is long overdue. To hear this Administration decry anything as "corporate welfare" is laughable!
