It was completely unnecessary and rude and I know that all of the street team leaders are very disappointed in what was said and done. It reflects badly on Push Play and everyone involved with them and on behalf of the Louisiana street team I would like to say that we are very sorry that this happened.I hope musiqtone, honor society fans, and all decent push play fans will forgive the actions of those people and let Push Play be in future competitions. We truly are sorry about the rude and out of line acts of some push play fans. ~Janie |

I am very disappointed that we have to make this very difficult decision to remove such a promising act. This in turn hurts the integrity and the reputation of not just the Musiqwards or the fans that have diligently casted their votes, but also hurts the integrity and reputation of Musiqtone.com and the fine people that work for us. Your extreme negativity has hurt and caused pain not only for the members of this fine music act, but also the families and friends of the members of Push Play. In addition, some of the mudslinging has gone along the way of Honor Society and we would also like to apologize to the members of Honor Society as well as family, friends, and anyone else who has a direct association with yet another fine music group. Once again such negativity DOES NOT AND WILL NEVER represent the views of myself, the Musiqtone.com heads and the Musiqtone.com staff writers. I sincerely hope that we all can get past this crisis and we can continue the Voter's Choice for the 4th Annual Musiqwards with little or no disruption. Thank you. -Alan |

I was notified early this morning of less-than-delightful messages on this board and I am totally APPALLED at the nature of the comments, which have been since deleted and whoever you are, you probably are not allowed to vote anymore because we have banned you. Low blows and attacks will happen but when they start involving body parts, racial slurs, animals, and slurs in general that shouldn't be relayed here, we are concerned about our PG-13 rating. We had implied that the board needs to stay at around PG-13 but since that is no longer an option and I am really disappointed in how this has gone on. The top two vote getters, Push Play and Honor Society have posted constant bulletins preaching about keeping the comments relatively clean and you have failed to live up to their expectations. Because of that, we are electing to MODERATE the board, which is something we did not want to do because we are all busy, we all have other things to to outside of Musiqtone.com and moderating this board is almost akin to babysitting and because of how the board has went, we have no choice but to make the decision to mod the board and set up our own rules as it goes. This is a shame that we have to resort to this and we hope the nasty comments can stop. -Alan |
