I know because of logistic she can not go everywhere she would love to but she can make it work. Enough of 8 dates in London alone, Paris, blah blah blah. She should also do Stadium in the US more people in a single show would give her more time for other places to visit. Also, enough of sappy ballads we've already seen, Drowned World, Paradise (not for me) anyone? songs that have been exposed on the radio. Madonna, people are clamoring your return to the stage. |

I also kind of like the idea of a campy show-tunes 1920's avant garde kind of style - does this make sense? Similar to a style that Bette Midler did, but way more detailed. She's never toured in Africa before and I'm sure she's done every other continent expect Africa and frankly, I've seen her in Barcelona and New York and it's unlikely that I'll be able to travel to see her in concert this year as the budget is tight. Celine Dion is currently in South Africa and her concerts have been sold out and as Madonna is THE greatest performer, she won't have problem selling out concerts, I'll bet she'll sell out in record time. It's time she show's South Africans what a phenominal performer she is. |

I suspect there'll be subtle influences of african culture in some of the wardrobe. nothing to over the top like some have suggested on here. more like a mix of african & glam, similar to the i love new york/ ray of light look from the confessions tour but a little more sexier & brighter prints. of course jean paul gaultier would be the perfect choice to pull this off and I bet he's all ready been tapped to create new ideas for the tour. of course we're gonna get that urban street look considering the new album is heavily influence by that sound. I think it would work with some of madonna's songs from her first album. let's not forget she did emerge from the detroit/ new york streets & clubs. I think the older hits could be refreshed with a little touch of the urban sound. as for the bollywood look, I think it would have to be toned down alot! it could get a little over the top and garish. again, the indian infuences would work more in the wordrobe aspect more then a set theme though it would be interesting to see erotica/ justify my love in a karma sutra setting. a more modern Indian look with silks and free flowing fabrics is what I envision. |
