Yes to weed
The facts are clear, what's it gonna take for the government to do the right thing... Besides, the Freedom Charter has said that the people shall govern, so it's pretty much clear that the people want the legalisation of cannabis for both medicinal and recreational use.

Yes it will assist our broken economy
Dagga will help raise our economy, the person that came with the law that it should be illegal wanted to promote the western cigarettes knowing it will benefit both themselves and their foreign friends’ finances at the same time killing our nation, weed is a natural herb that can be used in many ways apart from only smoking. One thing I know is that this plant never kills, the issue comes when drug dealers add other ingredients on it(it’s like adding a poison to water)

Weed should be legalized and controlled just like in USA...just look at how good it works there the evidence is right there...patients would rather use cannabis than pills that destroy their bodies!

Proof that Marijuana is Drugless.
It is little wonder that the unique makeup of marijuana has caused major confusion over its effects on the human body. Neither a stimulant nor depressant, pharmacologically it is classified by itself (Weil; Schultes and Hofmann). That it produces changes in mood has allowed for its classification as a hallucinogen, but this definition is ultimately unsatisfactory, since hallucinogens are chemically unrelated to the molecular makeup of marijuana. Plant hallucinogens and hormones manufactured in the brain are both water soluble. They both contain nitrogen and are categorized therefore as alkaloids. But the marijuana plant has no nitrogen, and its active principles occur in resinous oil - not released in water.
Almost all plants that alter consciousness contain the element nitrogen and therefore belong to the large class of chemical compounds known as alkaloids. Among the more important plants with psychoactive properties, only Hemp/Marijuana has active principles which do not contain nitrogen. (Shultes and Hoffman)
The alteration in mental processes that takes place with hallucinogens occurs because of their similarity to brain hormones. The usual pathways of neuronal messages within the brain change dramatically and directly when hallucinogens are introduced. But marijuana does not affect this mechanism at all. Instead its effects on brain patterns are indirect and are mediated through the more subtle regulation of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)

Dagga is my right
I have used dagga to cure my own cancer and epilepsy, used it in assistance to overcoming tb and have used it to cure the cancers of others. I use it for religeous reasons and to just get high, to relax, to focus and defocus. Dagga is my right, the current laws are illegal under our constitution. My body is my body, my mind is my mind and the rest can go and **** themselves for all I care.

Its a HERB not a drug
well ive been smoking weed for 3 years now and see no reason why the government considers taking the herb as illegal.
1) it has never killed anyone but tobbaco has killed people but is legal.
2)it inharnces your way of thinking which is what is needed in this country because we clearly are not creATIVE.
3)It does not lead to any violence not like alcohol which might be the cause of physical abuse but instead it makes people happy and calm and eases pain from the body and cures alot of illnesses.
may the government please legalise it will help us in many areas the country struggles with

¤For thousands and thousands of years people have been using cannabis for their own benefit!
¤Why deny us the right to do so????
¤Cannabis does not lead to other harder drugs.
I,ve been smoking marijuana for 4 years and not once have i ever felt the urge to try cocaine, mandrax, tik etc..
¤The only harm i do when under the influence of marijuana is eating alot of food and over using my mp3 player! Is that detremental to society?????

Why to Legalize Marijuana
So why should we legalize Marijuana?
Medical : Cures and prevents cancer, oppresses Depression, cures insomnia, saved me from daily headaches and intense insomnia.
Recreational : Inspires music, intense sensational boost, appreciate taste, music and social much more.
Other: Safe to use, not addictive, improves total life quality of disabled people, not a single death connected to marijuana in the history of the world and plain great fun.
So that is not even a 10th of the total of the thousands of uses and positives of the wonder herb.
Why wouldn't you legalize something as amazing as this? Because you are a selfish, hypocritical, corrupted politician who rides the gravy train until your own people die from hunger and poverty.

We should legalize it. Even if we don't win the elections which we probably won't, all we need to do is get into the cabinet which we do have a chance with, if we get in there we can work ourselves up
