Posted By: laurie Posted On: May 23, 2002 Views: 920 | RE: tools for cutting i break glass and use that. it's really my favorite thing to use. i used to get knives but that was too inconvenient plus people started noticing they were gone in large amounts. i used to use safety pins but pretty much whatever is close by. |
Posted By: tony kay Posted On: May 24, 2002 Views: 918 | RE: tools for cutting for the last 4 weeks i had resisted the urge to cut but now after last night i'm all cut up again i need help doe's anyone know where i can go? |
Posted By: Angel Posted On: May 25, 2002 Views: 910 | RE: tools for cutting Well, tony kay, That really depends on what country you live in. I don't know anything about other countries, only Australia. But I have some hints of things you can do that really help. If it's the pain you need, get a rubber band, and stick it around your wrist, and then when you want to cut, flick it on your wrist, you know, like pull it back and let it go. That way you get the fix you need, but you aren't all cut up. I know it's substituting one addiction for another, but it's less harmful, and people don't notice as much. And *you* don't feel so bad - because you haven't cut. Actually, you feel better about yourself, because you *haven't* cut. Try that! |
Posted By: Hollie Heard Posted On: May 31, 2002 Views: 901 | RE: tools for cutting I've experimented with a few things but find that sharp blades work best for me, although serrated edges are good if its damage your after. |
Posted By: renee Posted On: Jun 16, 2002 Views: 879 | RE: tools for cutting mainly just the same as everyone else. Scissors, knives, glass, anything with a sharp edge that i come accross. I usually use my stanley knife... its the sharpest. |
Posted By: Hannah Posted On: Jul 5, 2002 Views: 873 | RE: tools for cutting A razor blade, most definatly. I just take a razor apart and the blade is so new and sharp, it does the job like nothing else. I've tried glass, didn't do much because it was thick. |
Posted By: steven Posted On: Oct 30, 2002 Views: 862 | RE: tools for cutting razor blades are the easiest things to get hold of, after all no control over who can buy them (even if you could get odd looks not like you'll get questions). guess that utility knives and modeling knives are harder to get (least in the UK) but family are good for them. worst things I used was a carving knife, something I haven't been able to hide as it was on my fore arms and are still obvious over 4 years on. |
