There are, in the world today, telescopes powerful enough to view the surface of the moon, such as Keck I and II in Hawaii. If we did indeed never go to the moon surely someone would point this out in viewing the surface from one of these telescopes. There has to be visible evidence on the moon that we did indeed go there, or surely someone would have discovered this by now. The fact that we haven't gone back is because of a couple of things. First it's very expensive to send someone to the moon. Second, we have no reason at this time to return. Building a space station on the moon is a great idea and should be a goal for all of earth. All nations should work together toward this common goal. But at this time it is not necessary for us to make a return trip to the moon. I know it is fun to believe an elaborate conspiracy theory involving our government, but I'm afraid the conspiracy theory doesn't hold water. Sorry, the truth is much more boring but it's still the truth. |
| Posted By: Just Passing By Posted On: Mar 25, 2005 Views: 745 | The Bible Just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth on religion. First, let me say I'm a Christian. I believe the Bible is a true factual historical record of what leads up to the life and death of Jesus Christ. The alternative is just too grim and I have to believe that what the Bible promises for life after death is just too nice to not believe in. Second, there's something that I've been exploring that seems to have some merrit to it. There has been discovered some ancient Sumerian tablets that speak of an alien race known as the Annunaki which come from a planet known as Nibiru. These texts describe these Annunaki as 'gods' and says they come from another planet. There's a lot more information on the net about this, but doing a google search for Annunaki will give you a lot more information than I can provide here. Anyway, the point I wanted to make is that you could make a strong argument that God and the Angels of the Bible could actually be the Annunaki. Do I belive that to be the case? Not at this time. I certainly hope this doesn't prove to be true either. I like believing in one all powerful entity that creates everything. To me, if God is that powerful then he could surely give me everlasting life. The alternative just isn't as good as what I believe. |

If I was to see live, high defenition video.Not still pictures,of the Apollo lander debris.From a robot space craft of a foreign nation like Japan or Russia.Zoomed in for close observation.With no financial backing or involvement with NASA.Then I would be a happy camper!The photo on your website showing a tiny black dot at the landing site is simply not good enough.There are many projects claiming they will do this....I am still waiting.What have the russians come up with?You say they went there to get rocks...Were they not curious to fly over apollo site for pictures?I have not researched that but I'm sure you may have.I am just curious.Thanks. |
