The Big Bang Theory DID NOT created the universe!!
GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH CREATED IT!!! I tell you... How did the Big Bang Theory create you??? I am very sure you don't know. but I know how God created all of us human being. He created us with his own image!!! So that mean if all the people on earth put their faces together... it will be how God looks.

RE: NO

So if we merge together every face on the planet it would look like God! I wonder what colour it would turn out to be? Does it change everyday with all the births and deaths?
I think you have misunderstood the bible where it says he made man in His image.

RE: NO

Big Bang theory is the best explanation as to how the universe came to be. We don't know why it came to be but the scientific explanation of a spontaneous expansion is a better explanation than being magicked into existence by God.

God created this universe and everything in it. God is an awesome God. He work u up this morning and you are in your right mind.He even died on the cross to take the punishment away from YOUR sins. The least u can do is praise him. You believe what you want to believe, but as for me and my house, i will serve and praise the LORD!!!!!

Christina, you do what you like but belief in invisible beings is delusional. I woke up this morning in my right mind but there are millions who don't. Where is God for them? He created them in his image according to you. If that is true, then all people would 'wake up in their right mind'.

Ignoring modern scientific evidence against a 2000 year old document (bible) is the heighth of ignorance and lack of education. If you do not understand the science behind the Big Bang, then you are in no position to argue against it.

RE: NO

So we have to thank God because we all woke up healthy today? This is so typical of so called Christians, praise God for only all the things that are good. If God is responsible for our health and well being, then what about all the bad things that happen? The bad things would obviously be his doing as well.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, the tumours have spread over most of my body and my future is bleak, it is a terminal condition. Next time you are having one of your little chats with God will you please advise him that Keith Mayes was not amused when He gave me cancer. Furthermore why does he allow cancer in the world anyway? Isn't as though anything good comes from it. And why create earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts, disease and birth defects?
If God was really responsible for the way the world is and for what happens to us, the last thing I would do is praise Him, I would instead tell Him what I thought of Him and He really wouldn't like it!

RE: NO

There is a problem with your theory Snowyflake, The Big Bang is full of holes, and isn't really science.
In fact the Bible contains more science than this crazy theory.
Do you mind explaining to me how nothing can explode and form the universe?
Every explosion has to have an ignition and how does atoms form from nothing as well.
The idea of a ball the size of a gumball made out of nothing that explodes and makes everything sounds a little more crazy than a loving savior who died for EVERYONE regardless of what they have done.

First of all, the Big Bang wasn't really a bang or explosion. It was a rapid expansion similar to how dying stars expand. I'm not saying Big Bang answers all questions but it's a darn sight closer to the truth than an invisible supernatural being waved his magic wand and voila there was the universe and oh looky here we have Earth and I'll just plop a man on it. The bible has as much science in it as a Marvel comic book.

And don't even get me started on the historicity of Jesus. We don't have any historical proof outside of the bible that he was a real person. He might be as real as Harry Potter for all we know. The fact that billions of people believe in a thing does not make that thing a fact or true.

RE: NO

actually the bible is roughly 3400 years old!

It was written from apostles, evangelists, and Prophets who were inspired by the Holy Ghost!

The Holy Ghost is Jesus and Jesus is God they are one!

It's like a Cheese Hamburger! If you take away the cheese it's not a Cheese Hamburger anymore! If you take away the Ham it's not a Cheese Hamburger anymore! and if you take away the Bread it's not a Cheese Hamburger anymore either!

RE: NO

Just because a book is 3400 years old does not mean it is true. The bible is pre-dated by the Epic of Gilgamesh which has many similar stories that were incorporated into the bible, most notably, The Flood story. Just because billions of people believe in God does not make God true or real. Believing in imaginary super heroes is the remit of children not adults.

RE: RE: NO

"Do u mind explaining what caused the "rapid expansion"?"

No one knows what was the cause of the 'rapid expansion' but I can assure you that scientists are not considering God as the answer. There is an answer but we are not there yet.

God is a human construct, man-made. The evidence for this is plentiful in the inconsistencies of the various holy books around the world. The historicity of Jesus is doubtful. As doubtful as the existence of Harry Potter.

Just because billions of people believe something doesn't make it true or real. Check it out, ask questions, be skeptical.

Enjoy the glorious sunshine! :)

so there is as much proof of the "rapid expansion" as there is of God, i prefer to believe in God, but if you don't wana believe that someone loves u enough to die for you i cant stop u.

There is more evidence of the Big Bang than there ever was of God. If you want to believe in lies and fairy tales then I can't stop you. Read a science book.

RE: NO and "Creation"

how can something explode from nothing? I really dont know, and it's beyond my comprehension. But this does nothing to disprove the theory, as theres so much evidence for it, more than i can list in the 2 minutes i have before class.

When looking at any theory, you must do so unbiasdly, forgetting your beliefs so that they don't skew your view. since you are clearly a christian, your beliefs will force you to disbelieve anything you hear that conflicts with this.
