AF Files review

I finished the book last night (even though I got it that afternoon.) The short story at the being, LEPrecon, is an awesome story. It talks about how Holly became part of the LEP, and you get to meet Root's criminal big brother Captain Turnball Root. Love the name ;p. You also get to see Trouble Kelp do some serious flirting with Holly. He winks at her like 5 times in the story. It's hilarious, with a great ending.

There's also three games, a crossword puzzle, a wordfind, and a quiz to decide what creatures you are. The first question of the quiz isn't exactly fair because it asks "are you under three feet tall" and if you answer know you go straight to human. So I got human, but when I answered yes to that question and went on to the others I got pixie.

You also get to see the teachers comments on Artemis' report card, which is extremely amusing. There's interviews with all the major characters, and they have some really interesting answers. You get to learn what Butler's favorite story genre is (extremely shocking) and who Artemis' favorite musician is (even more shocking, especially since he's one of my favs too). Most of you probably won't know who he is cause he's an old seventies musician, but he's awesome.

For those of you who weren't able to get The Seventh Dwarf cause you live in America and don't have a credit card to order it online, you're in luck. AF Files has the seventh dwarf in it, though in my opinion LEPrecon is the better short story.

And last but not least, there's a gnomish alphabet and some things for you to decipher.

Overall this was a great book, but more could have been added to make it better. I give it a 9.5/10.

Nicole - great review as always. Have you tried the species test on lep-recon.com (the site Callum told us about)? I hate to admit it but I keep getting 'goblin'

No there's someone else on this site name Nicole remember? She's a newbie and she only comes like once every six months. Or that could have been VG.

Um, my bad - That was me. I meant to write to Nicole. Couldn't figure out what Tyler was talking about until Nicole responded.

Sorry - I'm really too busy to be posting, so I make typos (this one was especially bad, sorry) - I just got hooked again with the VG issue.

I cant wait to get the files! I cant seem to find them anywhere though.

Sounds great,i love the idea of Holly and Trouble.Purely because of the fact that in the books Trouble isent given much of a personality,so you can imagine him however you want to.

Amber: yeah I love troubs character so I was really happy that he had a big part in LEPrecon. It's a great story. Do you have a Barnes and Nobles where you live? I got mine off of their website.
