| Posted By: ellen Posted On: Apr 10, 2007 Views: 491 | favorite books i know that is random, but i just want to know. i like harry potter, spiderwick chronicles, and anything by roald dahl. i also like the royal diaries. and artemis fowl is good, too, but i read the books too fast together because my dear friend mayg pushed me to and now their all jumbled up in my head and i can't keep track of them anymore so im going to re-read the whole siries over again. |

It's good and what adventure!!! Artemis Fowl series is just a LEGEMD!! no offense to Alex Rider fans but MUCH BETTER THAN Alex Rider series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in a way, Artemis Fowl is quite cute if you see him on blue covers... cute wavey hair wearing an expensive suit.. lol |

So far theres two books and a third is on the way. Its about this boy (Percy Jackson, Duh) who while in 6th grade discovers that his pre-algebra teacher was sent by the God of the Underworld to kill him. Gah! But she's just the first in a long line of mythical creatures out to get him. The reason for this is simple. Hes a Demi-God, Half-Blood, 12-year-old Hercules, whatever; the son of a god. But unfortunatly underworld scum aren't the only ones after him! So is Zeus! *Lightning outside* But you'll have to see why for yourself when you read this book. Other than that... Whe have a very talented young author (my brother, known here as A Homeless Dogless Dude) who has posted a story on this very site!!! (How My Dog Died)OK, he isn't exactly Eadgar Allen Poe or Shakespear but its wonderful entertainment if your really bored. FYI the 1st books name is Lightning Theif and is 10X better than How My Dog Died ;(. |

I also loved 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' The movie sucks though, I think. Harry Potter. I don't really like it... It's ok, but I like Eragon better..... But my absolute favorite is Artemis Fowl.... I made my mom read it, and she loves it 2!!! |

Its a cat series so if you have a soft spot for a confused but determined kitten then this is the series. Also there is a sort of non-official series by Nancy Springer about Rowan Hood (Robin Hood's daughter). There is also the Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. Full of mythical creatures and with an Evil Eye this trilogy is the best! Also the Chronicles of Narnia and the Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis are wonderful! Happy Reading, Genius in Disguise |
