I am however a virtual genius in other areas. MY most recent IQ test results were 131 points on the fun education website in the adult section, living in Hong Kong (not true), being 29 year old male (also not true), and being a masters' degree engineer (a big lie). These things are the highest on the IQ scale and that's why I picked them (according to the site). You need 142+ to be genius but I'm working on it. Besides, the test said that the readings would be inaccurate for minors. This leads my to believe I am an extremely gifted adult and a genius for a child. I do know the concept of Quantum Physics although my school hasn't gone over it yet (junior high generally doesn't). I know the bare concept but my brain has an immense vocabulary and I, as you could say, specialize in reading and what comes of it. I've created my own theory of the creation of time (not yet published [don't you DARE laugh. Adults don't take me serously]). When I was ten I regularly read a 100-200 page book at night (Nancy Drew was a favorite) nearly all were fiction. I'm currently reading high school, young adult, and adult literature. Currently I've started the original Hunchback of Notre Dame and then will read The Great Gatsby. I'm not sure what you'll say but I believe I qualify. If not, I'm one of the closest things. |

Probably not though I am "gifted". I fall 11 IQ points short. Ah well. I did take a long time with that seeming as I wasn't sure and wanted to present all the facts. PS t.t.d.: Sounds like you have sleeping problems... If so, I advise you to station your computer by your bed and contemplate my last post until you fall asleep in comfort, knowing you'll never have to meet me and be bored by my lectures... (If you can't tell this is sarcastic)... Real PS No problem! I like your sense of humor. I don't see it often (that was humor, right?). |

And since most of the people on this forum are in Middle School or the equivalent odds are very few of them will understand quantum physics. What is it that you want to know, anyway? I'm not a genius, but I'm starting college this fall and have, unlike many others, actually taken a real physics course. |

Even though it sounds weird, a lot of the time you can't fall asleep because you're thinking, right (most cases are)? If that's correct, then try to block out all thoughts and concentrate on your breathing, or soak in some soft music or whatever. Concentrate on it firmly without any thoughts coming through and that should help (do NOT laugh at me because it really does work. I've used it more than once and as long as you block out everything it works). It should take only a few minutes and you won't even know you're asleep until you're in dream land (ignore the pun if you want). |
