Things Hope for is about a girl named Gwen who's grandfather disappeared from their home in New York City and leaves her a message that says dont worry about him and to not tell anybody he's gone. It was a bad time for that to happen because Gwen has violin auditions for Manhattan's top schools. She meets a guy named Robert and bacomes his friend Theres a problem with his uncle and gets involved with the popo(police). And the end is very unexpecting and thats all i could say or ill just ruin the book for you. |
| Posted By: Anonymous Posted On: Sep 30, 2007 Views: 501 | RE: RE: Books ok two things.. wuts with the ------ and the yes no, four, blah blah, ----i dont get it??? and a AMAZING series i just started reading (on the third one) are the Books of Pellinor by Alsion Croggon majorly confusing at first cuz dif. world and powers and stuf but bout this girl named Maerad who's been a slave most of her life, than this "random" guy, Cadvan frees her, and turns out she's a Bard--a person who uses music for magic in the world, from the clan Pellinor. they thought everyone from that clan ws dead, and turns out she's this legendary person thats supposed to destroy their great enemy, the Namless One for the final time and she travels wiht Cadvan, who becomes her teacher on this quest that is supposed to help her stop the Nameless One and yea, read it--amazing, kinda confusin at first but AMAZING! |
