RE: Atlantis complex

I doubt that there will be movie. I have read the Lost Hero, I think. (Is that the one by the Percy Jackson author?) Those other two I've never herd of. Are they good?

RE: RE: RE: Atlantis complex

Yup exactly that! It branched off from the PJATO series, well now I think their universe is labeled the Camp Half Blood Series. I think, don't quote me on that hehe.
Well the Haruhi series is from Japan originally, and they've got English translations now.
However John Green's books, are amazing. From what I've read. I recently read Looking for Alaska and it was great. It's like those books that change your outlook on life. I recommend it. (:
Anyway I'm done geeking out. For now.

RE: Atlantis complex

Yay~ geeking about books.
I definitely recommend it. Search it up, the summary may seem all normal and boring... but it actually isn't. I don't know, perhaps because a lot of teenagers can relate to the main character/characters. Don't read spoilers though. (; It'll just reduce the impact the book will have. I don't think a book has ever affected me as much as this one. There are various messages/themes throughout the novel, but what resonates most to me is to Seize the Day. Also that life and death doesn't have to be as painful as we make it out to be. Well it depends on your beliefs initially. But yeah I recommend it. ^^
As for the Haruhi Suzumiya series, well anyone can like it. It just depends on your interests. It's an anime too, btw. And it's fine if you don't know what that is. xD
Okay now I can read the Atlantis Complex. School is almost over with and I need books to read this summer. Hmm I'll see how Arty has turned out in recent times.

RE: RE: Atlantis complex

So... it's been a very long time. Almost two years. I don't know what exactly triggered my memories of this place, but I'm here.
It's pretty much dead, that's obvious. I'm not sure what I'm trying to accomplish by posting. But I guess I am doing this for sentimental reasons I can't really explain.

I feel rather silly using "?????" as my 'name' now. I feel like we were completely different people. I guess you can say we are.

I hope all of you are doing well and wish you guys the best in life. Whether or not someone sees this is irrelevant. As long as I got something out I guess (:

who knows, a random bypasser may stumble upon this bat**** crazy forum den thing.

RE: Atlantis complex

I felt so old reading back on all this. It was only a few years ago but it seems like ages. I completely forgot all about this until my email said you replied.

The nostalgia hit me hard when I reread the posts. I do feel like a completely different person since I last posted (I'm still a huge dork when it comes to books).

I don't even know what to say. The excitement for Artemis has long since died down. I also feel kind of silly for using 'ArtyFan#1' as my name. I think by now, I'm the #1 fan by default.

For whatever it's worth, talking (typing?) with you guys gave me a lot of comfort when I was younger. I was very introverted and only talked to people if I had to. This site weirdly enough helped me to open up a little. I guess knowing that there were people who were as weird as me gave me confidence.

I don't know if you have email notifications so I don't know if you will get this but thanks for the trip down memory lane. It's nice to remember a time when I wasn't so busy with 'grown-up' things.

Okay, sappy much? I feel a little silly posting this but chances are that I will forget about this site again so I doubt I'll ever be here again. If you do see this ????? just know that I actually enjoyed conversing with you.

P.S. I don't think I ever actually looked up those series you suggested. Oops. ;D
