In the local news

this young lady is the cousin of my brother's girlfriend. The punchline is that she's an accomplished fighter herself, mostly because she's had a lifetime of being slapped around by scumbag men she dates and marries. I hung out with her once, but no fights that night. My brother's g/f says this girl has had a lot of fights, one recently at her uncle's funeral about a month ago where the cops had to be called! Apparently, someone said something about the other girl's baby's father or some nonsense.

Here's the link to see her picture.

LYNN, Mass. -- Police arrested and charged a man with kidnapping a woman Friday after the two were spotted at a gas station in Beverly, Mass.

Woman Missing For Four Days

NewsCenter 5's Jack Harper reported that the arrest of Peter Marvin ended a North Shore police dragnet that had been going on for the last few days. Police said Kristen Angelesco had been held inside a U-Haul truck. She was found alive but stabbed and dazed after allegedly being held for four days.

An employee of the gas station said Marvin had worked there about 10 years ago. The employee said he called his boss when he spotted the woman with blood on her face.

Police said Marvin is an ex-con with a history of kidnapping and battering women.

Angelesco's husband, William, is awaiting trial on murder charges stemming from an incident at the Squire Lounge in Revere, Mass (THIS PLACE IS A STRIP CLUB). Police said Marvin vanished with Angelesco the night before police were planning to question her in the case.

Her husband also allegedly has mob ties, according to a Boston Herald report, and the man he is charged with killing was also allegedly connected to the mob.

Marvin's car was recovered in the woods about 1 mile from the gas station. He last spent time in jail for violating a restraining order from his estranged wife.

"I'm glad they got him and that I can sleep," Diana Marvin said.

Police said Peter Marvin will eventually be arraigned in Lynn District Court, but he may have to go to the hospital to be treated for injuries to his face allegedly inflicted by Angelesco.

Marvin's family members said Marvin and Angelesco had dated, and they believe she was with him willingly.
