... Vira v. Monica (ECNWC)
Reviewed on: (September 24, 2003)

Waiting for the latest from ecnwc is always a long, arduous ordeal! But it's always worth the wait as ecnwc produces some of the very best catfights out there. The fight in video #33 ranks right up there with my two personal favorites from this producer, videos 30 and 32. And like my two aforementioned favorites, this latest catfight features that sexy, special lady Vira! This marks her return to catfighting after the injury sustained at the hands of "bitchfighter Jenn"! Vira looks awesome and it is truly great to see her again. The 5'5" blonde takes on the 5'2" Monica, another ecnwc vet, and the two go at it for just under an hour. For those who know how the ecnwc fights are conducted, there are no surprises here and we are treated to one hell of a submissions catfight between two determined tigresses. Monica seems to have some genuine animosity toward pretty little "Barbie Doll" Vira. Even though Monica is slightly smaller, she seems convinced that Vira is going to go down hard. Monica also looks great, looking more toned than she did in her previous battle.

Although it starts out a little slow, the pace quickly picks up as these two get totally caught up in this catspat. There is palpable cattiness here that fuels both these females. The intense action is incredible throughout, and really does rank right up there amongst the best these guys have produced. It's not as fast and loose as some earlier fights from ecnwc. Vira and Monica wrap themselves together for so much of the match. The fighting is generally pretty tight and has a great smoldering intensity to it. There is hard hairpulling and I'm sure there must have been hair all over the mats after this one! There's some brutal body slapping and punching, tough scissoring, breat mauling, as well as some crotch attacks. These ladies do not fool around! Vira and Monica rip, pull, scratch, and slap, as their bodies entwine. I actually prefer this type of fight, as it always seems to be inherently more fiery and passionate. As in other videos from this producer, the women start out in skimpy attire and are quickly down to thongs. The talking is also way down in this one.

The savage feline fury rages and it doesn't take long to realize that Vira is dominating, regardless of the spite Monica seems to have for her! Vira's beauty belies her fighting prowess, as she truly is back better than ever! I would love to see that Vira/Jenn rematch now, as it may produce a different outcome! Hell, she might even wipe the mats with Melody now! Vira's back with a vengeance and she shines, winning practically every round and refusing to give whenever in a tight spot. For fans of this catfighter (like me) she has never fought better or looked better! Simply put, Vira kicks ass and has some of her finest moments ever, captured on tape. She even does some facesitting like a pro on this tape. Awesome stuff, that's for damn sure!

It's one hell of a comeback for gorgeous Vira. She finally comes into her own, scoring a dramatic win that she's earned and truly deserves. Monica has some new found respect for "Barbie" after this thing! The post fight interview reveals scratchmarks on the ladies' breasts, giving testament to the fact that this was a GREAT battle! The guys at ecnwc keep the good times rolling as their winning streak continues. You may have to wait about six months for a new fight, but you can't say that they sacrifice quality for quantity. Again, worth the wait...always!

Hard to believe Vira beat Monica. Monica looked much stronger in earlier videos than Vira. I will definitely buy this tape just the same cause both of these women fight with all they've got. Its great that this company puts out real fights and not the crap you get at Hollys Angels or Leather and Lace and others.

Melody would still kick Viras pretty butt. Jenn also would beat Vira 10 out of 10 times. Vira may be improved but those two women are too much for her.

How much slapping and punching was there in this fight? Any face slaps or just to body? I would think Monica could slap harder after watching Vira trade slaps with Jenn. Jenn slapped the hell out of Vira in their fight..

There was some pretty potent slaps and punches to the body. The girls were locked together on the mats most of the time and the action was pretty tight. I hope we will continue to see Vira at ecnwc. I would love to see her take on someone closer to her own size. She always faces either taller girls or shorter ones. I think that Monica simply underestimated Vira in this one. Vira's been away for months and yet came back, seemingly without skipping a beat, looking awesome and fighting better than she ever has. I think the sexy blonde was hellbent on scoring a win this time out!

The fighting being tight and on the mat rather than 'stand up' makes it sound like just my thing. Thanks for the review and will let you klnow what I think. ( Damn, they didn't waste too much space promoting it on their site either, do they ? Did I miss the announcement in the 'Producers Section'for this ? )

Mia was pretty awesome and a great screamer! LOL. To Jim: I don't know if ecnwc has ever posted in the Producer's Section. They may have for some earlier fights but not for more recent releases. Then one day, when you're about to give up hope, BINGO...there's something new!

Mmmmm..sounding good to me! As I said, would love to see a rematch. It seems to me as though Vira has learned a lot and refined her fighting syle somewhat. Bringing those two together again could be a most interesting little proposition! I don't even know if Melody is fighting anymore. I've only seen her at ecnwc and she hasn't done a fight for them since the one with Vira, in CF30. I'll write Bob at ecnwc and find out if a rematch is conceivable.

First thing I have to say is the delivery was in record time ... ordered it on a Wed evening and it was in the VCR Friday - how can you beat that for delivery ? As far as the match : I was hoping that ECNWC would have taken some suggestions about stating the rules of the fight when the girls 'come to center'. But the rules they were fighting by was kept you thinking of what was allowed and what wasn't while the match was going on. Stating them in the beginning at the 'Face Off' would eliminate this guessing of why they aren't doing certain things when the oppurtunity was available. I'm glad they still had the 'Come to Center' face off but it was better when theres a third girl taking them to center like in the Jenn/Vira and Melody/Vira matches, IMO. As far as the match goes ; it was good but not one of my favorites. But being a fan of Vira ( who isn't ? ) anything I get to see her in is worth it. I was glad to see her dish it out rather being on the receiving end this time and real happy to see that the spanking Jenn gave her didn't sour her on doing more of this stuff for us perverts. I think one of ths things that was in her favor was the lack of face slapping. Since the Jenn match I wouldn't be surprised she suffered a life long case of 'Slap Shock'. It'll be interesteing to see her in her next matches and the rules that she competes with. One thing I still say is Vira's got the PERFECT female fighting style ... a 'Girlie Fighter' is how I refer to it ... just enough of the 'unpolished' awkward female fighting stance and motions to make what ever she does out there sexy as hell; whether it's dishing it out or having her ass handed to her. Can't wait to see her in action again. Since Monica claimed to have a 'bad day' and wants a re-match, maybe we can look forward to this soon. But Jenn ... though I'd love to see her back at ECNWC, I think the result would be the same in a re-match with Vira. Jenn owns Vira.

I'm way ahead of you commander!!

My good sir, I have seen it AND reviewed it on Barbara's "no man's land" of a website! I had to sneak in low so as to avoid a skirmish with this diabolical "artful codger" ninny, a misogynist who does not care for lady wrestler Holly one bit! He's a deeply troubled little fellow who has a very unnatural hatred for spritely Holly and seems to be out to do her little enterprise harm. I can only guess why he has such a deeprooted distain for Holly..isn't it ENOUGH that the young lassie wears skimpy attire and rolls about with other comely little cuties like Jenn? I suspect Holly must have stood this poor boob up at the altar..or perhaps made fun of his "shortcomings". He's a nasty, twisted little minky, that's for sure!

But....I digress! CF33 is QUITE GOOD! It marks the return of...hold onto your seat...VIRA! Yes, the sweet little blonde tigress is back with a feral vengeance! She faces Monica (who was in CF27) and does VERY well for herself. Indeed, Vira has never looked hotter or fought better! She is much improved after her neck injury forced her to leave the scene for a while. You can check out the full review over at Barb's place. A must see for the Vira fan (of which I am one)! I also just received the latest from DWW, which contains four catfights from the big summer event (two of which feature the heartstopping Nadege)! I will be reviewing that one also.

And speaking of leaving the scene for a while, I thought that you were MIA! I was getting quite worried about you. I figured you were doing some covert work in Iraq, looking for Chin WMD (Weapons of Mass Decolorization). I feared you had been captured and was being forced to watch disgustingingly sepia toned black and white films from the extensive Chin video library! Ugh...bounder!!

You know we really must start work on our political campaign! That idiot, manchild George Dubya is beatable I tell you!! His numbers are WAY down! The time for the Dio Revolution has come (that is if you have a little spare time)!

Keep me posted! Keep your head down and your powder dry!

Thanks for the responses

Thanks to Cleo for pasting the Rough review and responses, Rough for his comments too and private Legion..... well you're just a pillock!

Haven't been checking Barb's review board at all recently, hence my naivety in regards to your post Rough, but thansk for taking the time to write the review, I'm sure that I and many others found it useful, even though you broke the cardinal rule of fem fight reviews and gave the result away. Bob and Sketch will probably kill you for this...

But I was wondering what it would be like to see Vira win a fight, that would be good to see. I do hope they kept the feature of the cafight prelude to the match when there is an intro featuring the girls. That was a particularly good idea from the Vira vs. Melody catfight, but alas was missing from teh Vira vs. Jenn one with the exception of a brief blurb from Vira.

Anyway, carry on... I'm busy at the moment persuing two ladies in the hope of getting laid...

Bravo

Two ladies??

You rascal you! Play your cards right and you might find yourself right smack in the middle of a threeway! Good luck and make sure you have enough Battenberg for everyone!

I used to never give away the winner of a fight but I've found myself gradually getting away from that. It depends on the particulars of the fight really, and in this case I was tickled that Vira scored that dramatic win. I figured that a lot of people who would want to see her in a triumphant situation, so I revealed that she was the winner. There is a little opening interview with both girls sitting together. It's here that Monica calls Vira a "Barbie Doll" and I believe that really set off Vira! She pretty much made Monica eat those words!

The giveaway

Dear 'A bit of',

I've been thinking, (between the election planning of course), about when a review gives away the conclusion of a fight before you've even seen it.

My conclusion, speaking personally her, is that it reduces the entertainment of the fight quite a bit, i.e. when I get the Vira vs. Monica catfight, it's not going to be as fun now having been told the result.

I think this applies to all things that have a punchline/conclusion/result, that being told the ending can in some cases put you of even seeing it for yourself. No one wants to know the ending, and the only people who do, are usually those who have no intention of seeing it/buying it in the first place.

Therefore Fluffy, may I make a very very polite and big smiley faced request that you reconsider your stance on blabbing the ending of catfights when you review them. I know you're excited with the material and want to tell everyone about it; your reviews are very informative for many people. But the punchline giveaway will only ever negate as opposed to enhance the viewers pleasure.

No one worth their cotton socks in a professional context would ever think of blowing the ending away of any text they are reviewing, there'd be uproar about it.

So please consider my point will you, and don't take my constructive criticism too bad now... I would have loved to have seen that Vira Monica catfight not knowing the result, it's a very big part of the thrill. Ever notice how Bob at ECNWC manages to tell you info about the catfights but never reveals the result of any directly? It's a skill.... so learn from it young padawan! See it as a Sixth Sense...

Points well taken

I know where you're coming from and, quoting the youngsters now, I'm "feeling you"!

More often than not I don't reveal the winner and I used to NEVER do it. I've gradually gotten a little "softer" in that regard though. It's a funny thing, sometimes I almost inadvertently give away the winner. If you become too immersed in the juicy little details and particulars of a contest, it almost seems unavoidable sometimes. I will admit I was just pleased as punch that Vira pulled off a big win! That had an inherent effect on me being a...well, "blabbermouth"! But I will take your advice to heart and try to be a little more tightlipped insofar as final outcomes. You might want to check out my review of the latest DWW catfights, from the big summer event. Spoiler alert though, as I gave away another winner! I shall have to be more secretive if I ever hope to get anywhere in politics! Loose lips DO sink ships! And if some bugger would have told me the ending to "Sixth Sense" I would have probably thrown a nasty fit! True, "Vira v. Monica" is no "Sixth Sense" but...hell, you get the idea!

RE: oh brother...

And so, he does it again. Atta boy brainiac. Somebody give him a food pellet, willya? His little feet are tired from running all day on that hamster wheel going nowhere. Great metaphor for Capitalist Minky society, the 'hamster wheel' don't you think? Round and round they go, in a big old hurry to get to the same place they started.

Isn't blubbo Roger Ebert still shopping for a new partner, preferably a skinny one who won't eat-out all the chow at the NBC commisary before he gets there to stuff his drool hole?

Then our intrepid reviewer can blab to everybody how the Titanic movie ended.

The ugly truth about Roger Ebert

The stoutly fellow actually ATE Gene Siskel. It's horrible I know and the powers that be kept it covered up pretty well. If Mr. Ebert ever found out I opened my big mouth I'd just "disappear" one night. You don't furk with Ebert!

No more revelations...unless you want me to tell you who killed Kennedy.

RE: giveaways....

See, it's like the Titanic, because everyone already knows how it ended before the saw the movie.

That could be equated with fake play-wrestling productions. None of us really care who 'wins' cause they're faking it anyway - We just buy those type tapes to see wimmin who look as good as Jenz to roll around, the fabricated 'winner' is irrelevant.

BUT, when it comes to 'real' rasklin, who wins is a HUGE selling point. Many guys are curious about their faves - 'I wonder if so-and-so can beat so-and-so?'

And THAT'S why you NEVER giveaway those endings.

Simple, really.
