On Barb's mb a feller has intrigued me by indicating he "knows" that someone whom he could not mention - but who shut down "the board" - was none other than "Road Dogg" of the WWF (now WWE). Hmmm...several curious items here: My friend back in Michigan (the guy Jabroni kept heckling me about as being my "lover" or whatever) menioned that there were several possibilities as to who the idiot calling himself 'Jabroni' was. Several people were mentioned, with Brian Gerald James - "Road Dogg!" -at the top of the list. Unique and almost humorous that two guys whom I'm certain never met one another could come to the same conclusion but there's more: 1) both Jabs' character and James (family wrestled under Armstrong) were indeed second generation wrestlers. 2) both Jabs' character and James wrestled, of course, for Vince McMahon. 3) Jabs said on more than one occasion that he and McMahon, though parted, remain on friendly terms. This appears to be the case with James/McMahon, as Vince was reluctent to fire Road Dogg, though he did some three years ago. 4) The verbage and grammer used by Road Dogg and Jabs does appear somewhat similar. 5) Road Dogg sometimes says he's retired, or semi-retired, or ready for full time action. Jabs' has mentioned this as well. **HOWEVER, there are also problems with this 'theory' of Jabs being the Road Dogg: 1) Brian Gerald James was born on May 20, 1970. Though I vaguely recall Jabs saying his birthday was "last week" or whatever, about this time (May), the year gives me a problem: Jabs said he "partied with Elvis" and said last Spring hat he had just turned 40. Actually, RD had just turned 33. In either case, a 14 or a 7 year old probably never "partied" with the King. 2) Brian James was a U.S. Marine and decorated veteran of Gulf War I. Don't ya think this braggart would have puffed about this somewhere along the line. Rather, we have heard nothing about him ever being in the service. RD is said to be proud about his service and talks about it, so several sources have told me. 3) Jabs keeps talking about the Frisco area and California. It appears thats where he lives. James is from Marietta, GA and still lives there, according to his bios. 4) Though the drug problems that James has experienced would leave one to question the very real possibility that his paranoia resulted in the "lawsuit", my friend and several others have led me to believe that James is way too busy and way too happy playing with his daughters than to spend much time on the 'net and - while Road Dogg has given the appearence of being a "wild & crazy guy", the postings are very much 'un-James like'. So...is it Jabs or is it memorex? I know, I know. Who gives a flying.... Still, it was an interesting possibilty and I can't rule it out. Then again, if Jabs is James, it's obvious the drug treatments didn't take. atf, I am curious, Blue

(ok it waz me ) Leege ... quit talking about your goals in life (1) to be banned from Barb's board. I know the OLD FUN Leege would !!! Actually , don't go there . Its bad enough Dio and the Fonz are no shows (or so we think) Fonz man ... Jab's couldn't make it on tv in prime time. I'd bet he has been on local cable access channels wrestling at high schools and BS like that , but other than that he's full of beans . The guy has proven he's a total idiot so who cares who, what or when he did anything . All he did for me/us and close down a board and we needed to resort to come here : ) Just look at how I insulted him and he didn't even have a come back on Hoffa's board. YEP a real tough gay .... As I see it, the points you make regarding Jabroni's age vs. Road Dogg's is THE clincher that Road Dogg is NOT our man. I too think that Jabs is in his late 40's. Many of his references are about long retired wrestlers, like Ray Stevens, Anne Casey, Theresa Theiss, etc. Also, the story that sparked all of the controversy was about his involvement with the filming of All the Marbles. That was released in 1981. Whether his story is true or not doesn't really figure in. The fact that he was so up on the movie strongly suggests that he's not 33. As I've said before, my interest in his identity has little to do with curiosity. It has more to do with protection. I don't want this guy wrestling in any High School gym in the Bay Area as part of either of the local wrestling promotions. I think he's a lawsuit looking for a place to happen.
