Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Brother J, the serial killer, wants to know when the mini-series of "Big Ears" Charles, the Prince of Wales (or wherever) "will be shot?" Damn good question. Here's a succinct answer, retrofitted just in time for all four of the remaining 'unStepside' guys still here: Who gives a flying f*ck?

Now, I know that CNN wants us to "Rock the Vote 2004!" and that we should encourage why...even people with IQ's in double digits to "participate in running America!"
Ah...wrong. I shudder when I hear that dumbocracy will be forced down the throats of simpleton gang-banger wannabes and kids with zits and girls who might vote for candidate X 'cuz he's..."oh, so cute!"
Similarly, I cringe at thinking that men and women with neanderthal "instincts" and who can be found on certain boreds will "participate in (read: screw up)" my local gummint, even more than it is. See, I don't much care for some women educators with masters degrees and a ****y mood concerning men; nor do I care for union guys who take "the list" given out at Bolshevik HQs and proceed to 'punch in' their choices. No.
But what I REALLY don't want is someone with the mind-set of a Jabroni cancelling out my vote.
Why do I mention this? Well, ol' Big Ears is a member of a "Royal Family". From somewhere - back hundreds of years ago - a "Kingdom" was launched. Guess which type of imbicile was most likely 'behind' this idiotic, grotesque method of determining 'local/national governance?'
If you guessed "the most powerful" give yourself a hand. Now: CNN can present the 9 dwarf's in all their sweater's and swagger but one things for sure. The 'POWERFUL' who once 'chose/selected' who would be King or Queen were the cranial ancestors of the "Rock out the vote!" lunks who conjured up this nitwit form of "participatory democracy." To wit: We cannot, of course, simply "slay" or physically intimidate the electorate. No. But NOW we can - how does the NFL call it? - we can 'equalize' or 'level the playing field' of the "thinking candidates" versus the "really cool candidates"; IOW, lets 'water down' the intelligent vote with the votes of the naive, the dumb, the unknowing. The really stupid. Great. Let's make sure that every idiot who can mimic Bart Simpson or watches re-runs of Fear Factor & Maude will get their votes counted. 'Parity' in a box. Let's make sure that drooling, constipated 85 year old Jewish women who don't have the sense to realize they voted for Pat Buchanan have the SAME voice as the sane.
Nutz! Ol' Big Ears is a problem for the Brits for sure. That I'll grant you. But we here in the US of A have plenty of home-grown ills germinated from descendants of the lemmings who thought that by placement of a funny looking hat and long robes on some inbred sired by cousins was a "cool idea!"
Rock the Vote my ass.
Here's the denouement as I see it: We'll end up with the candidates who play the sax the best and are most photogenic on 'People' rising to the 'top'. Like a Homecoming Queen/most popular senior student in high school we'll track every moment of every candidate and - like some moronic sit-com - we'll "toss a curve" at the end by hitting below the belt with goofy questions about bj's @ work, 'sexual harassment' and the last time the poor sap took a hit of meth or Jack. THEN, it's "lets make a deal time" sans Monte Hall, wherein the guy/lady with the biggest promises and best profile win.
That's how Dumbocracy is played in the USA.
Don't even ask how it's done in Canada or France, cuz it ain't pretty, either. Anyway --
Read. Listen. Expose yourself to the classics and to philosophers of many ilks. Then, reason and cast an intelligent vote. It won't mean jack sh*t, but you'll "feel good."
Just don't go overboard on the "open mind" crap. Ya open your mind too much and brains may spill out. Still --
Not much danger from Hoffa's sycophants and robotic types for that to happen.
Belee dat.

RTV my ass

Looks like the lads have deserted yet again?

Tsk. Can't expect much patriotism out of a group of rabble trained by Cap Dio.

Their motto is: "I's rather my country died for me..."

And..."who's got this round?"

Not in a huff, just visting that den of inquity...

....also known as Washington, DC. Ok, so I am a sucker for the Smithsonian Museums and I always pay a visit to old Abraham (who, I agree, couldn't get elected dogcatcher today with his face and that silly hat). Also a sobering visit to the Holocaust museum, which would probably even render legion quite for an hour or so...looked up the fellow Hutch's on the Wall, none related to me, but figure they're part of the fellowship. The WWII Memorial is coming along nicely, that's the one I hope my uncle (frostbite during the Bulge) lives to see and my Dad (Lend-Lease convoys to Russian through what is now Iran/Iraq) didn't.

OK, end of travelogue. You and legion keep calling names, I'm going to invite freestylefan and Bobo to come here to keep you company--that should make for a nice tag-team.

Seriously, I remember Robert A. Heinlein once saying that a person should be able to solve a simple equation (say, 3x + 5 = 14) before they could vote to show they have at least the barest ability to reason. Of course, the problem with democracy is you in effect say 1 million other people are just as smart as you....yeah, right. On the other hand, monarchy/dictatorship says that I am smarter than 1 million people....um, that doesn't come out to well either. Like it or not, what we got (and it ain't democracy, a capitalist republic is more accurate) is probably about as good as it gets, at least until we mature in another 2-3,000 years.

And we do have have to have a good long talk about this rabid conspiracy additction you have..I'll be in Phoenix 1-5 December, but probably won't have a weekend to get over to your neck of the woods....maybe in March.

Until then, I'll try to be my simple, smiling self and not be too huffy.

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Rock da vote (LOL)
Rock n wrasslin ...
rock n roll . Thats the only thing that should rock .
Anything else is BS and done so for either profit or selfishness ! Hey , now that I think of it rock n' roll just isn't the same anymore and the true meaning is lost .
Its a way of life not a political metiphore.

Did we see Harry True-man or other presidents say ~
classical votes ... or vaudville the votes ?!?! Did they rely on the youth of the world other than putting their lives on the line during a war or to work for slim and none wages ?

What have their studies shown that the kids actually mean something to them now ? They why not really listen ? They listen until they get themselves in office thats about it.

I hope this rock the vote crap blows up in their faces and the kids turn on them !
Kinda like the movie "Hemp for victory" !

No , it wasn't a huge popular movie only a cult classic (and still kinda sucked)

Oh I've been here brother Fonz , but I feel I've been speaking up too much and want to save some babble for maybe next week or something .

Plus, with bringing out this top secret info on the Prince I've now retreated to the pub gearing up for yet another assault !

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Cheer up boys, there's little to fear regarding the voting chimps. The fact is, THEY'RE TOO STUPID TO EVEN MARK A BALLOT, and I'm not talking about Florida 2000. Some of the tests I give to my classes are multiple choice. Now, you would have to be an idiot to flunk one of my multiple choice tests. When I write my tests, I always make sure that I have six pack by my side. Now, by the time I get to my 3rd beer, the incorrect answers on these exams get increasingly incoherent. Still, I have students who flunk. BUT THEY'RE NOT THE ONES I'M TALKING ABOUT. You see, they can at least TAKE the test. I have several dolts who can't even do that. I give my classes a copy of the test (several pages) plus your standard issue multiple choice answer sheet. After demonstrating how to bubble in the correct answer and after displaying an example on the big screen with Power Point, I still have dimwits who CIRCLE their choices. Because I use a punched key to score their test, their answer sheet shows no correct answers. I even had one genius circle the answers on their test sheet. Really. She put her name on the answer sheet and then proceeded to circle the answers on the test sheet.

No, I'm not making this up. Now, do you expect these people to vote? Riot, maybe. Vote, never!

RE: Ah yes, Hutch, so sorry...

If I have called you anything, for you are one of the nicer folks around here and have never seen fit to "flame" the Fonzster. Still...
hehehe...hey, real bad idea to force ANYONE to face freestyler against anyone, or have you forgotten the boy "gets a hardon" whilst resklin men. Eck.

Point Number II: I also hope your relative gets to see the WWII memorial and it's high time the damn thing was built! Oh, btw: I was a mile from the VN Memorial but couldn't quite get myself to go there 30 years ago. Hope that he will have more resolve than I.

Finally....why yes, it would be nice if everyone could at least have the intellect to solve a basic math/algebra problem. In case no one here got it, the Fonz - who got all A's in everything up to Calculus, with the exception of one B - will now solve the'problem' as posed by brother Hutch:

3X+5=14 Here, we must get the variable (thats combined with the constant) on one side by 'switching' the sign by taking the numeral 5 and placing it on the other side
and making it -5.

3X=14-5 With me so far?

3X=9 Divide both sides by 3

X=3

Now, prove it! 3(3)+5=14;
9+5=14
14=14

Well, bygawd, lookee here!!! Margaret, the boys right!

BTW, the B was in a computer math class. I thought long and hard about either quitting or f*cking up the prof.
The Fonz is kinda smart but - as I've tried to explain - the VA says I'm 'border line insane or sumpin'.

RE: all and all its just another brick in the wall

I sucked in math and was always in a low math group/class to prove it ! Both in
HIGH school and at college parties : )~
HS bored me and at the time I could really careless. Plain and simply the things I liked I did great in.
Believe it or not I did ok in spelling even dispite how I see word backwards, upside down etc. Yes , I am one of them .

I was always good at being loud and grabbing the chicks bra's infront of me and snapping them .... making spitballs and having wars with them with my buddies.

Oh and I was THE MAN when it came to drawing pics of the teachers in my own cartoonish ways. I'd just sit there and draw without a care what the teacher did or said . I could ace any test no problem , but come time to go home couldn't find my books to do homework : (

Actually , I did great in school up until the 11th grade (when I got my wheels)
To me and most at the time school was a place to hang with freinds and find out where the next party would be and get my hits of LSD or bags of weed and hit one the younger students and get them to go to upper classmen parties.

I can count about 5 teachers out of about 50 through out my highschool years that actually did it for me . You know the ones who wanted to teach and were good at it.
I'm sure your that guy Bear , but that would have meant for me to stay back another 14 years.

Bulushi said it the best ....
" 8 years of college down the drain ! "

Only took me a year of that .

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Killer, I never opened a book in HS. I hated the place. When I got outta the army I had no vision in one eye, little movement in one arm and few prospects. I tried never telling anyone i had been in VN, but...hey...they knew.
Anyway, I started opening books, ended up getting several degrees...and now I'm back to being some disabled smuck with PTSD and so forth.
Makes one consider existentialism, the cosmos & such.
Still, I'm trying to restart the anti-land mine project of the VVA (Hey, if we cant have Dianah let's at last keep her memory alive) and spending time with family.
Anyway, many people have overcome dyxlexia (Tom Cruise, for one). You have succeeded and are doing well and I'm proud of you.
I mean it. I mean, to think: A man, his dirty pictures, his website! Another Murkin success story! America: What a Country!

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Is that what happened to you Fonz ? You stepped on something that went off ?
Damn nam !
Great to hear you made due with what you were delt . Degrees a crazy **** like that ?
To me thats a success story no matter how it ends .

As for me only one dirty site ?
Naw, I've done a few actually . They pay better than Mom and Pop shops .
You know those ones were the penis is ramming some blonde and it reads "She likes em big" while it animates into her ...etc thats just some of what I do !!!(LOL)
Lots of pop-up work you'd see in the corners of these perverted sites : )
(but not much anymore)
90% of the others mostly small business and boring sites like that.

Now I do a lot of commercial and animation for sales and promo for companies in MA.
I can only laugh when I see some shmuck at these company meetings that has on his monkey suit and has gone to Harvard or some **** like that and I'm the guy running his site and/or promotion for their companies (LOL) ahhhh God .... if they only knew .
I play it off so well like I am one of them
then go home and do bong hits all day long and look at chickfighting sites (LOL)

Unlike some ~
I don't thank education for where I'm at today. I have myself to thank . I got no help from anyone & never asked.

I'll admit some teachers were cool and down to earth and I admired some while others I thought had nice tits .... but yeah I'm glad schools out and happy where I'm at now .
But, theres always tomorrow .

Can I go to bed now ?

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

No killer, I got hit with a mortar round. I do the anti-land mine thing because - of all the evil war brings - nothing is more insidious than a land mine. Stepping on one usually only brings terror and long periods of pain. And children seem to step on more than anyone else, as they often want to "play" with the damn things.

I'm a sucker for kids. Usually the 'grown ups' I can't stand.

At any rate, most VN Vets are 100% against the use of land-mines. May not seem like much & God knows we need to end all wars. But it's a start. My start.
btw, I still work, but I have a lot of trouble being in a room with more than a couple of people. I dread this. Thought I was the only one, but found that there are many like me. It's the hand I've been dealt and I'll play it best I can. Feel kinda bad that I'l spend most of the rest of my life 'leeching off' the rest of you taxpayers. Kinda makes me feel like a politician.

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Your worth every penny Fonz. I know people who were in the service and never saw action and still get certain disability payments (even while in jail) and the one I refer to is related to me (but not by blood)

So spend my money as you wish. Just buy me a drink if you ever run, walk or stumble into me.

You fought for a cause and you still do today. More than I can say for some of us.

Killer, I'd gladly buy you, Hutch, Marty, Spence, Cleo, Dio, Barney, leege & WG a drink, anytime. If I left anyone off, I'm sorry.
Just that: I may hit you'se up for a donation to the anti-land mines fund of the VVA. IOW, the drinks are on the Fonz but -- BRING YOUR WALLETS JUST IN CASE!!

RE: Ah yes, the 'mini series'!

Fonz,
Well like I said I suffer from feeling bad looking at fat malnurished kid commercials at 4 am and pay most of my charity to Sally Struthers. For a fat pig such as she is they should really have someone else be the spokesperson . Or cut clips from her "all in the family days" and make her mouth move like they do in south park or in talking dog commercials. Man , I would have loved to see her wrestle when she was younger. Just the way she always cried and complained.
"Ahhhhh she's pulling my hair meathead!"
SHUT UP GLORIA AND FIGHT BACK !
Anyways ...
Did you know for only 4 cents a day you can feed a starvin marvin just like the ones seen on tv ? My question is what do I get in return ? They'll still hate me for who I am.

The way I look at it is my 4 cents times 365 days a year I should own the little bastards and put em to work on the JSK mansion.

Ok , before I truley start sounding evil I'll stop there .Ofcourse I'll dish out the dough . I haven't given to charity in a long ass time. People are afraid to come to my door because of the signs I have posted.

No trespassing and we mean it !
(And then I have a hand drawn pic of a guy kicking someone in the ass)
Keeps the Jahova's and sales people away
and just about everyone else.
I should take a pic of it and show it to you clowns. You'd friggin laugh .
No wonder noone came to my house on halloween !

When it comes time for a donation Fonz drop me a line and I will contribute. Might as well do something good in this world for someone besides myself.
