What tapes have you bought that arent necessarily the worst, but you watch for the first time and just are dumbfounded by what you watched. Dio's 'fondness' for APL aside, what tapes when you watch them are not how you imagined them to be, to such an extent that you check to see you got the right tape. For me, there was the Double trouble tape with Hollywood as a gunfighter, she wrestles an opponent in the ring, they then have a shoot out with guns to decide the winner. Im a huge hollywood mark, bought loads of her videos but that one...jeez. Or the Napali (yes I know) tapes where Holly body spends most of the fight trying to put her clothes back on, so that she spends most of the time defending herself with one hand whilst dressing with the other. |

Hey Chris, if you bought Napali...I mean, hehehe...come on... anyway, to answer your question: I've always liked Sweethearts & there was one of Lisa - owner & a real doll - & a big breasted girl (can't remember her name)...the bigger girl used to dominate & you'd have thought she'd have given Lisa a rough time. But no, Lisa dominated & that's when even the clueless would have put those dots together & figured that, why yes, Sweethearts is a fraud! Nice question, btw. Also: anything with Golden Girls was always a dissapoinment. Finally, I'd say that WWWC in Ft Lauderdale, which has had some competitive stuff,has had some real BAD phoney rap, topped off with wimmin even Fluffy wouldn't bed. atf |

Almost all of them are disappointing. For various reasons. I say "WTF?" to nearly every single production as the idiots miss the money shot time and time again with pointless zooms and ridiculous angles. I've bought Napali in the past. We all have different tastes...BUT yah, silly, play sexfighting isn't my taste. They had some of the BEST production quality and camera work I've ever seen in video tape, even rivaling big studio releases for sharpness, colour, contrast, lighting, ect. The inept dunderheads who populate the ranks of 'producers' in this genre could learn alot from Napali. Golden Girls was similar - pretty good quality for the era shot with studio equipment by shaky, inept cameramen who seem to be throwing a Grand Mal seizure during the shoot. Some of the producers have improved dramatically over the years to a point where I am almost always satisfied. But a strange dynamic has arisen now that I have seen how good some productions can be, I am afraid to waste money on an unknown outfit because of past experience. (once bitten twice shy) The newer VSL DVD's I own are TERRIFIC! Highly recommended. I think I'd rather hear about the material you found to be excellent rather than dwelling on our many collective disappointments. |

Good image quality but less than excellent editing and after 29 minutes of Krissy kicking April's butt around this apartment, she inexplicably falls off April and allows herself to be put into a bad technique camel clutch. A few minutes of whimpering and next Krissy's in a body scissors and then submits. And while I don't mind watching my favorites lose, I was like, what . . . ? I too have always liked Sweethearts stuff. I thought they did a decent job of melding pro-style wrestling with enough skin to make the matches fun. Shows what can be done if someone with experience in the genre (Jan MacKenzie - Luscious Lisa from GLOW)puts some effort into it. Hey Vince - hint, hint. I don't understand why people yak on Napali though. What do you expect when you put big breasted porn stars in wrestling/boxing videos? The best thing about the vids is they are really inexpensive with great quality images. And usually somewhere in the vid there are a couple of really good, short scenes that make you think "what if..." If I wasn't so busy with world domination, it would be fun to go through the tapes and compile a collection those good moments. Might make a fun tape. Speaking of porn stars - what's up with Asia Carrera at Double Trouble? Don't they have enough women in their stable, that they are recruiting porn stars with no experience? I mean I know their vids are all or at least mostly done on customer spec, but . . . |

In the past I've bought from almost all the companies listed above , but in this day and age with so much competition and ease of getting what cha want I stick to very few that cater to me. Latley my collection is growing w/ realism unlike the staged pro style fighting/wrestling. I still love that stuff , but when it comes down to dirty fighting and nudity I'd rather see it in an apartment setting than in a ring . I look more for hairpulling and tit squeezin than a monkey flip or something outragous. I think ENCWC is doing a great job at giving the public what they want in respects to that. I've always been a sucker for facesitting and humiliation as well . I'm not a fan of sexfighting at all , but have bought some just because of the women on them . Christ , I still have a list of vids from the 80's and 90's I still want . So many fights ... so little $ . I'm totally getting into the girlnext door type thing . Anyone got any good companies along those lines ? Give me fat chicks , skinny chicks , ugly chicks , old chicks ... I don't care . Just make them fight and they are all tens to me . JSK |
