RE: Wheres fluffy ?

As someone who would probably be considered "middleAge" by my peers...I do applaud you going back to school, Legion. I, too, take classes a couple of nights a week. Only 27 more years until I get my masters. Good luck!

And, on a side note, I may be old, but look young. I stopped at the local Hannaford (Shop and Save) tonight on my way home. The cashier, no older then 18, lookked at my purchases. Underneath the deli meat, and ****, was a bottle of Captain Morgans. She asked me if I was over 30? I told her I had underwear older then 30, which the bag boy founded amusing. The cashier didn't. She carded me, which I found amusing. After looking at my I>D>, she replied something to the effect of Holy S H I T, or something like that. I attribute my boyish good looks to no drinking, no partying, and not chasing women in the 70's and 80's.

Leege goes back to school?

If he hasn't headed up a massive student uprising within a month, I will be VERY disappointed!

RE: Wheres fluffy ?

Now thats a success story Leege . Well more so once you graduate . And just think of all the little hotties that'll be running around the campus . You know they are always in the need for extra cash = (college gals wrasstlin)
You can tell Wise-ass and I are true massholes & think alike !

Well after highschool I always said I'd go back to school and I did . At age 19 I got hit with a DUI offense which required me to go to classes . Although it wasn't the type of classes or schooling I expected I learned alot from class and from the experience of being an idiot .
Then I went to college for a year and a half right afterwards and basically turned my arse around . No , I didn't graduate , but then again what they F was I thinking being apart of the criminal justice system ?!??!

There were about 4 or 5 people over the age of 30 and one in her late 50's . At first people were like " Why bother ... what the?"
Then realized these people don't beat around the bush . These are the ones that'll get a diploma and immediatly get something or already are , but need a degree or paper to get them there . For one they've been in the real world . Two ... their party days are "kinda" over and so theres more room for studying . And three ... well you get my point . I think by the end of the year all these people were popular and looked up to . I'm not sure how you conduct yourself in person , but with the common sense and knowledge you seem to hold you might be seen like Rodney Dangerfield in "back to school " !!!

I admire that Leege ! Norm Commi would be proud of you ! Christ , I'm proud of you .
I just knew you were up to something , but thought it was up to no good .
Once again proven wrong .

I wish you the best of luck and hope you still come around , but after you've hit those books !

And good deal Fonz . You never seem to surprise me .

Spence I bet you have a putting green in your basement don't cha ?!!!?

Rough don't give the man any ideas .

RE:

ewwwww...on my lunch, at home...catching up on mail and ****...killah, I'll have to read your post again later....i read it twice and still don't get it. It could be me. I've been screwed up all day. Wait, I just read it again..oh, ok..older people in college are...nope...sorry...still don't get it, but the only reason I'm taking classes is cuz I'm stoopid, but willing to continue to try and edjucait myself. Everyone here, with the exception of Jabroni, would surely admit to the benefits of more education. Isn't learning a life time occupation?

By the way, the only thing in my cellar is a bunch of dead bodies, and it will take the authorities years to get dental records, dna, etc. The putting green is covering it all up. (oh, theres probably some magazines and vids from the silly 70's and ugly 80's underneath that putting green, too)

There coming to take me away, he he, ha ha, ho ho!

RE: Wheres fluffy ?

Where life is beautiful all the time ha ha he he ... yes good old Dr. Dimento !

What do you mean you can't understand what I'm talking about ? Evesssjsjone elselsgslnlsn do es !
(LOL)

Basically I always said I'd go back to school after highschool even though I friggin hated it .
Well , when you get busted for driving under the influence of alcohol DUI or driving while intoxicated its required you go to "Drunk classes" each week for like 8 weeks : (

So in reality I did go back to some type of school after High school . Follow me ?

Then I went to college a year or two later but only lasted a year and ahalf there . I didn't have the money and shuttered at the thought of paying for it years later . Although I did really good and all .

While there I thought being 21 that I'd be the oldest in most of my classes , but there were people much older 30 , 40 something and even 50 years old . Seriously the "kids" looked at them as if to say "why are they here ? " Heck even I did at first .

Now what I meant to get at is that at a young age most people are when they go to college they lack many things that age brings to the table . Common sense for one
and the actual willingness to learn without wanting to find out where the next college party would be held .

The part about golfing in your basement ?
I dunno ... should I have asked if you have a mini putting green in you living room or something ? You seem to talk about golf alot so this is why I brought it up .FOUR !!!!!!!!

And I have you beat because I have bodies in my basement, attic and backyard . Oh yeah and acouple outta state and down by the river.
Alright so I don't but .... ahhhh watch out FOUR !!!!!!!!! ... I thought it would be funny to write .

Ok , before you really get me rammbling and confusing I'll stop now .
See ... I should have stayed in college .

RE: Wheres fluffy ?

..ahhh, I got you now, brother. I've re read and understand what you were saying. As i said, it was a strange and bizzare work day for me. Things are much better now that I'm home...but bodies in the cellar, toys in the attic...hooo yeah! I'm having flashbacks.

And Hey Killah, golf is not a sport. It's a social gathering with 3 very good freinds. I hit the ball OK, (I'm about a 15 handicapp...and I'm sure you have no idea what that means) but look at it this way. Grab 3 of your best buds, and spend about 5 hours in some of the prettiest lanscaping you can imagine. They send 4 somes off the first tee every 12 to 15 minutes. So, as soon as you duck hook one off the first tee, and everyone laughs, you are pretty much on your own for the rest of the round. If you are riding on a cart, there's room for your cooler on the back. If you have a golf bag made in the last century, there's a pretty good bet there are cubbby holes to hide your weed, one hitter, and even a bong. I'm serious, if you are hooked up with 3 of your best buds, on a dry, 84* day....nothing better. Not a worry in the world...

No cars, no pools, no pets, someone in your groups got cigarettes.

Cheer those Pats on Sat night, JSK. I'm sure you are aware of the weather coming our way...wind chill 20 below Sat night...i like our chances!!

Talk to ya

RE: worlds oldest frat boy

Hey, good for you guys taking some courses. Edumacashun is a lifelong pursuit , you're right. I don't see it as 'work'.. but for me it's more like fun! I really got lucky the way things worked out for me - I was off on Compo getting shoulder surgery when...the place CLOSED down! Heh! Another crippled up old guy got stuck in the social safety net! (gee, I love socialism) So, they sent me for testing in 'vocational assessment' ...basically, a glorified I.Q. test (which I of course, aced) that went on for six hours, and realized I was suitable to send to the U for a free, paid educashun.

Not only that, but when the place closed down I got a fat severance pay as well. So I got like, the double bonus plan!

Just the way things worked out.

Oh, the girls? Jeepers, it's like the Playboy Mansion in there to me as I'm used to working with pretty much all men. Wish I was 20 again, but this will do just fine.

So, that's the story. Once in a while we get a break in life. Not often, but it happens.

RE: Fluffy's turned bomar on us !

Right-O Leege ,

Take the ball and run , run , run !!!!
Just think they always say don't try and carry the world on your shoulders ... no Instead use it for free schooling : )

Someones looking out for ya (even if it isn't u know who) so its good you didn't pass it up .

And pleanty of chicks love "older men" so don't be walking around thinking you'r the elephant man or anything like that . Besides
in this day and age its better to look and not actually touch .

Go for a hot looking teacher ! Possible more your age . Although it would be you who would teach them a thing or two ... or three.

You lucky bastard you !

RE: FOUR !!!!!!!!!

Spence-amilia ...

I hate t-ing off when people are looking at me . Usually , I tell me all "hey look its OJ !" and swing quickly so they don't see my ball land in the woods , water or where ever else it would happen to end up .
Then I put my hand up to my face over my eye brows and pretend I'm watching the ball go a massive distance .
Works every time : )

Once on the course in between I don't mind and usually get some good shots in . I'm better with my short game . I think I try to hard to kill the ball at t-offs .

I useta golf quite a lot , but the last few years really couldn't find the time . You are correct when saying half the places are some of the most beautiful landscapes around . Nothing like it especially with 24 of your bestest freinds : )
(a case of beer)
I doubt I could keep up with you on the course , but I too only play for fun and to get outta the house every now and then .

Praying for the Pats sat . Not that they need it , but it helps . And getting the home field advantage isn't so bad either !
later ,
JSK
