If you look waaay bacck at two of my posts from 5/2003 1) Yo, Harry on 5/21/03 and 2) the ECNWC on 5/1/03, someone calling him/herself the brilliant 'special guest villain' Batmanesque 'the Tester' has tried to post some pictures. I found the same on anothe old post that was not mine. I only realized the intruder was here, because my trusty email supplier,Netscape.net had a message recently (thanks for that option on DIHQ where you can be notified of responses; else we may never know about these recent goings on!) There was also a comment about Dubya and needing luck. It's possible that this schemer has hijacked other threads. It's also possible that he/she may be linked to the nefarious Dr Chin. At this time, it cannot be determined as true, but it is best that we assume the worst. Brothers, this is no time to let security down! Breach,bang and clear all doorways! Batten down the hatches! I can see that Staff Sergeant Fonz's training course in security surveillance is paying off top trumps in regards to DIHQ's ongoing war of vigilance against the ever looming threat of Chinism. Bravo! Now Corporal Kent recently brought my attention to this activity of test messages being posted off the main page here at DIHQ. It's usually done to test whether a message works before posting it in the relevant thread as we don't have a preview option at DIHQ due to my belief that hesitation of posting is a feminist issue and is only used by lady boys. Harrumph. So for that reason many, including myself do a quick jobby down the board to see if it works. But the troops here at DIHQ miss nothing, and as Wiseguyly correctly points out, DIHQ have installed Chin traps to detect nefarious activities off screen. Keep up the good work Wis Gis. Dio |

It is true that the dark, dank recesses of the DIHQ vault there exists many a posted thread that has been used for a variety of secretive purposes. These purposes can result in great good, or great E-Ville! Vigilence, as always, is recommended. My interesting discovery was made, not due to keen observation, but due to the auto-responder function whereby a poster receives an email when his post receives a response. This, too, is ingenious. This is yet another reason why this board is one of my favorites. This discovery, by the way, will for perpetuity be protected by my vice-like mind, to be relinquished only when it someone wrenches it from my cold, dead grey cells. Lunchtime. Must jet. BTW, some of those old threads are good to re-read. I loved the gun control one especially. Made me want to go dig out my shoulder mounted grenade launcher. Kent |
