You even misheard/read or understood what GW said and for whatever reason tryed to either prove or get to something. Although I'm stoned right now I doubt thats why I don't understand the reason you posted this nothingness? He didn't say we are not an imperial power, but the victims. Far from it. He basically said we are there to help. Just as always through out history. The victims are the entire world. 9/11 happened to America , but if affected many nationalities including your own. Sure, I heard his speech and felt the reporters, press and people got good enough answers. Especially when the jerks were trying to see if he felt like it was his fault? He was straight up enough and because they couldn't place the blame on him for that "secret" document that mentioned nothing in detail. BINLADIN out to get America ! No S H I T ! It annoyed me they just couldn't stop asking the question "do you feel at fault for 9/11? " He didn't say yes or no. He went off explaining what he previously told them all. To me thats a good enough answer and meant no. Besides he wasn't the one who issued people to fly planes into buildings. Infact, with the info he got and gets from the FBI and CIA I'm surprised he ever heard of Osama Bin ladin. If anything it was a government failure not just his cabinet. And that government and people in charged were staffed long before him. S h it rolls down hill so someone else will take the blame I'm sure. Maybe that idiot that wrote a book lying about the pres? Let me ask you Leege. What has your country done to combat terrorism? Are you ready if something happened? Is anyone really? Do you care? Besides pretending to feel bad for a year you haven't done nothing to help the United States or the UN in regards to terrorism. Infact, noone but America, England and some others (very few others) have . And I'll add although you haven't felt the need to deal with it many other countries have and they still do nothing . Nice more Spain !!! Show the terrorists that they are more powerful than your country. Although I feel awful for all those lost I feel worse they gave up like that. What an open target they will be even more. Allowing the terrorist to get what they want only makes them stronger. But , I guess they feel as long as they leave them alone then screw everyone else? Sounds a bit like your country only because you have us "backing" you up in a real emergency. Maybe maybe not. Nice pics T and great humor added. Once again American know-how ! See, the Moslems -- like their Germanic brethren prior to WWII -- are sensing vulnerability and weakness in the west and wish to expand. I say give 'em France and Wales and Quebec. Maybe I should look into America more closely and say Ohio hasn't done anything to combat terrorism!!!! Since Kent state in 68 they are afraid of nearly everything that goes bang!!! England has taken a stand with the USA. Then we got a few others from Europe that are "helping out". Even our friends from Down under are doing all they can : ) People see it too much as if it doesn't happen to them then it won't ever happen to them. Thats a terrible way to go through life especially the times we live in. Not to say live in fear forever, but be real. Terrorists have no boundies or loyalties. It sickens me that Spain's number one concern was electing a man only because they knew he'd pull the troops out. Ok, now what if it happens again to them? Will he then put them back in? I only wish that wasn't happening here. Idiots like John Kerry who lie just to get into office and promise something as assinine as that. Maybe he would pull the troops out, but then what would become of all of this? England is simply in the most vaunurable of areas. I hate to say it and I'd hate to see it, but you guys are on this list big time. If for some reason what happened in Spain happened to you do you think Tony would pull your troops out? I think not. But, you can be darn sure he'll make a better point that its better not to listen to a terrorist threat and go about it by their demands. What happened in Spain only shows you that terrorism is much too real in this world yet people are doing nothing about it. I'm not saying throw in some troops and get fighting, I'm saying have your government check up on who's coming into your country and going out. Do a little more at your airports , train stations and anywhere else that would greatly affect a large number of person's in your country or others. Keep a close eye on certain things like powerstations, nucleur facilaties etc. Basic things, but very important. Still to this day even we allow loopholes. I can just imagine countries without the resources or funds we have and how close they are and don't even know it to getting whacked. At this point you'll see the terrorists doing whatever they can to get press. And, sadly the press is all over them. I really think it would be better if they kept the Osama tapes that seem to be coming out weekly on the down-low. All this does is bring them new hope and feeds them. So its not just lack of other countries involvements its also those insiders like the press and the people who create bad waves during times that are crucial. Sure, I could go around pointing fingers at countries saying "You haven't done anything to fight terrorism" and I know the point you are getting at, but what I am saying is I'm tired of hearing from the NO DOER countries. The second something happens to them they beg for our help and we're dumb enough to always lend a hand. Yet when something happens to us (as rarly as it may be) people feel we deserve it and suddenly become comedians and snub their noses towards us. The UN hasn't done a God damn thing . Lets forget every country justlook into those countries that are in the UN and tell me what any of them have done besides nothing ? As an American and someone who believes in what we are doing over in Iraq why wouldn't it **** me off that people make every attempt at ruining what we are trying to do over there? Not just the terrorists, but countries and their people. Saps like Canada haven't done anything but judge. They even boo us at a game when we go to their home land. I would have simply left the stadium and not played. With that f-ing additude F U CK THEM. Absolutley no class what so ever. We on the other hand didn't do that to them . If being cry babies is all they can do thats just fine. I'll bash Canada today and will continue to do so once they do something besides worry about if they are going to make it to the Stanley cup. One of my employees went to Beirut about 6 years ago (long before 9/11), although he held a U.S. passport and only stopped over briefly to change plains in London, he was held in the airport for a long while, questioned, searched thoroughly on his way to Lebanon and back...just because it said he was born in Lebanon. Even though Turkey is a NATO country, it was next to impossible for an ordinary Turkish citizen to get a touristic visa for the U.K. or any other European country. After the bomb explosions in Istanbul...Turks are not even allowed to apply for a visa for the U.K. any more, despite the fact that Turkish authorities tracked down and caught every one involved directly or indirectly in those terrorist attacks. Imagine how "his government" would treat the citizens of unfriendly Islamic nations.

In fact, that's the most intelligent thing you've written of late, my friend. The only thing Uncle Joe Stalin ever said, that made any sense, was that any country that capitulates in 30 days (as France did to Germany in 1941) doesn't deserve to be a country. He was in favor of wiping France off the map following WWII. The only problem was that nobody wanted it. I agree with your position that the only two places where you find a terrorist is at your throat or under your foot. I just wish our President would fight wars against terrorism, like he said, instead of wars to pay back political bankrollers, like he is.

Right after the terrorist attacks in Istanbul...British and U.S. governments told their citizens not to go to Turkey, they considered Turkey unsafe because of that Al Qaeda incident there. Juventus (Italian soccer team) decided not to go to Istanbul for a rematch with a Turkish team, and FIFA aranged a stadium in Germany. All the Turks felt towards Americans, British, and Italians exactly like Atf., and Bear feels towards the French and Spanish. Not to mention that it took a considerable national income from tourism. They had to suffer all that because they sided with the U.S. and The U.K. against Iraq. See how greatful the U.S. and U.K. are! The objective of terrorists is to create terror. By stopping your citizens' trips to Turkey you are directly sending them the message that you fear them, which automatically means the terrorists achieved their goal. Immediately after the explosions Turks encouraged their citizens to resume their daily tasks as if nothing happened to send the message to terrorists that they can not hurt Turkey. Right after the Al Qaeda attack they sent one of their soccer teams to Spain for a rematch with Real Madrid...they said "We can not act like the coward Americans, Brits and Italians"
