What The Difference

I have a question? What the difference in what our soldiers did to those "poor" Iraq prisoner and what the Iraq done to the innocent people trying to rebuild their country? Does anyone remember the bodies hanging over the bridge? Does anyone remember them pulling the bodies with their cars while bystander cheers? Does anyone remember them burning some of their victims? Does anyone remember them kicking and punching the corpes of American workers who was trying to rebuild their country?

Ummm yeah everyones seem to have short memories.I say this and mean it. Let get our boys out of there and then lay a couples od A-bomb on them like we did the Japanese and let seen a vitale message to everyone who dare think about harming our country.

It time to stop playing passive and caring, and let do what war is meant to do. Eliminate the enemies. Because I gurantees you something, you start dropping a few bombs that kill more than a handful at a time, and people start listening. I say go over to where bin laden is supposed to be at, let threaten to throw a few bomb, and I betcha, Pakistan tribal leaders will more than gracefully give us bin laden head on a stick.

Time to end the passive bullshi*t and get to the bottom of this thing once and for all.

Use full force, yes, but. ...

... blatant, wanton killing: No.

First off, Sammmy, I read your other post in the previous thread. A lot of good points there, and, to answer you back on that, no, a lot of people did NOT forget about that Wall Street reporter who died over there. Truth is, about 20 journalists have died so far covering the U.S.-Iraqi war since last year. Here's the beginning paragraph from "The Guardian" Website:

Memorial Honors 53 Journalists Who Died

By ELIZABETH WOLFE

Associated Press Writer

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - The names of 20 journalists who died during the war in Iraq last year and an Associated Press Television News cameraman killed while filming violence in the West Bank were among 53 names added Monday to a memorial to those who died covering the news.

(For the full link, go here:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-4049225,00.html)

The b a s t a r d s who murdered our men and strung out their corpses deserve to die on the spot, and I sure as hell wouldn't shed any tears if those who were cheering them on ended up in their graves, too, but I can also sure as hell tell you that using a couple of nukes to bomb Iraq back to the Stone Age would be an unforgiveable signal for the beginning of World War III. The DECENT Iraqi people in the "preliminary" Iraqi Government have labored long and hard to set up a provisional Iraqi national Constitution. Bush is committed to turning over Iraqi sovereignty to the Iraqi's on June 30, 2004 (although we'll have to see how MUCH sovereignty that really amounts to).

When innocent victims die UNINTENTIONALLY during the heat of battle, as tragic as that IS, it's at least understandable. That still doesn't mean you over-react and take out blatant, wanton vengeful killing on the civilian population without giving a damn.

As far as OBL goes, he'll be found out sooner or later, just like Saddam Hussein was (although Hussein was actually found based on a tip provided by one of the locals). Killin' OBL and his band of merry men is gonna happen. Assuming the Pakistani tribal heads (or the Pakistani Government itself) knew where OBL was but still denied knowing it, would we be justified in using Military force to overrun Pakistan and flesh him out ???

Why hell yes, but, that's the problem, we have to be SURE he's THERE. (If OBL would have returned back into the caves of Afghanistan, because the borders between Afghanistan and Pakistan are so porous, and we then bomb the hell out of Pakistan, do you realize what we would have been doing ???)

We would have been guilty of GENOCIDE.

(Having said that, nobody tell me that that's exactly the crap the U.S.A. is doin' in Iraq, because sayin' that is b u l l s h i t.)

RE: What The Difference

I'll tell you what the difference is Sam, and I'll quote one of my best friends who retired from the USMC after 30 years, following two stints in Viet Nam, veteran of Beruit and the first Gulf War.

He says, "That's what makes us different."

Period, end of story.

RE: What Difference does it make

Welcome Samual.
Like the great GW said " He'll put to justice anyone or country that harbors terrorists and/or backs them.
At this point do we really know Osama is over there?
If not him and we do have proof (not like the WMD proof) that they are allowing other terrorists in and out then I say go at them with force or atleast threaten to.
Its not like we don't have enough power over there right now.
I wouldn't doubt its been talked about, but I don't think nows the time.

What we should be focusing on is getting the job done at hand. Which although isn't going too smooth all the time, but is improving the country and has been working.

The only ones in Iraq complaining are the ones who had a dirtfilled life already. They expected once we occupied everything would be just fine and dandy. Now that they can't get it together themselves they complain that its all our faults.
The Iraqis who lived well still do. The middle class are still middle class, but the poor are still just poor. Thats not our fault, but these are the ones who go to extreme lengths to be heard or to set pain on others. They are the ones who blow themselves up to kill any number of us.
It makes our job more difficult and stressful. Although sick and demented I'm sure to those soldiers doing that it was because of what they've gone through as well.

Ofcourse the press doesn't cover "World wide" how many of our troops are getting killed over there ... how and by whom, but the second you slap a penis its the worse thing in the world. All because a few of our troops felt like demeaning the enemy in lesser of ways than they do to us.

At the moment theres thousands of companies that will be growing over there. Water, electricity is more so than when Saddam was in power!
For example-
Women can teach again and do whatever they like as long as their "hubbies" allow them to do so. Things they couldn't even think of doing before with that kind of goverment.

You don't hear about these things on the tv or in the news!
Like I said the sad stories and pathetic ones were not the ones we created. But, they are the ones we libertated. Your all welcome.

I wish the Iraqis could hear the millions of stories from American and British families whos loved ones are in the service in their country. Its not like all of them are living it up like kings either. A Mom with kids with no husband , with a megar soldiers check. Think its easy for us? Then we need to hear about how many got wasted today or have to see pictures of our innocent hanging from bridges?

Now and forever you get other countries that although they won't move a muscle they'll flap their gums once they see something wrong.
Ofcourse these were all the same countries that said we had every right to do so back in the early 90s. Also, millions of Iraqis complained then that we didn't finish the job. Now we are trying to & unhelpful countries and media doesn't help matters either especially in other countries that have always been against us.

Once we get that place in decent order (Which will happen)and we can hand it back to "the people" then we should deal with Pakistan if they've done anything intentially wrong. I think they'll reach an agreement before hand. But, if they don't and they are guilty lets not be a Canada , Germany or France and sit back twiddling our thumbs up our asses. No, lets put an end to em.(the terrorists I mean!)
