This is way off topic for this board. Or maybe it's not. The same 3 or 4 or 5 guys seem to like to argue their political views here. It's OK, I'm not caring about that. You guys have your little space on the web to cyber argue your views. But as a man who is closer to 70, then he he is to 40, and a big sports fan, I thought that the guys from the boston area might find this interresting. I found this post on a message board called SOSH.......translated...Sons Of Sam Horn. Being an old New Englander, I keep up on the never ending trials and tribulations of the old town team (the sox) and this writer captured the fealing of the era when Tony C (Conigliaro) was a rookie just months after JFK was assassinated. I remember those days all too well as a young 20 something kid in those days living in Boston. If any of you do decide to read through this wonderful post, give yourself some time. Maybe a laptop in the head for your good morning dump? Anyway..here's the link..again; off topic, but I thought our NE friends might find it interresting ..

on your post you left a space right after the 1 (just before the 2) and I kept getting error messages. Wouldn't want anyone to miss it.

I quicky jumped in over there and began to read. God, so many familar names and memories(atleast I've been told about)

I'm still kicking myself to this day for getting rid of my 1965 redsox cards. I had everyone on the roaster. The things you do to get an QP of weed back in the day : (

Anyways thanks for the post and I do plan on reading and possibly posting. I'll try not to offend. Hey they are all redsox fans so I'm sure we'll all get a long!!!

BTW ... speaking of the "massholes" that come here I was just informed about an "event" in Worcester Ma. I guess a bunch of women are going to be WRASSLIN in cakes and other messy substances. Its not my thing either, but its a cheap fem fight fix :)

Tickets are 20 bucks and its taking place at a strip club off of route 290. I'm not sure if I'll go and haven't gotten too much details, but I can get more if anyones interested.

Its advertised as a "girls gone wild" type thingy. Right there makes it sound cheesy, but I have nothing against naked women rolling around in cake batter!!!

Ok I see for some reason the numbers space themselves out. So after the id number make sure the numbers are combined or else it won't get you to that url.

ThankYou lurker, for thinking of us here in the NE. I actually am a card holding memeber of the sosh board. Don't laugh. Anyone can read that board, but in order to post a message, you must be a member. I applied about 2 years ago, and was approved last winter. It has nothing to do with statu quo, or anything else. They just keep it small (relatively speeking)

I read the post last month on sosh, and if you scan down down through the replies, you might catch a Spence reply or 2. A very well written post, and anyone over 25 or 35 or 45 or 55 can relate to it.

Good to see someone else thought it was 'primo' writing.
