The old fool finally figured out what I deduced at 18 yrs old. Well, bravo! Better late than never, to quote one of Tongue Tangled's pointless cliches. "Atheist, Anarchist, Mother" - epitaph on the tombstone of Madalyn Murray O'Hare (who was apparently a much brighter bulb than ole Joe here...) I like his column though, even though we do not share political views. Of course, most of the stuff I read is contrary to my political point of view, which is considered 'radical' - (as in not agreeing with the groupthink opinion of the dumbed down halfwits of the lowest common denominator, which by definition = the majority. Nearly everything 'mainstream' is bound to be contrary to my far left thinking. At any rate, I have to agree with most of the direction Sobran is going. As a believer in natural law and that the 'state' is almost always evil (as Sobran says, in varying degrees, from the USA to Stalin's Soviet Union) I can assure you that most 'other' people reject this principle out of hand, as the giant tit in DC or Ottawa or London or Havana tends to enrapture and beguile even the most questioning of humanoids, Joey Sobran included. Remember, while I was bad mouthing the war in SE Asia, I was being shot at. Joey was a major hawk in Ann Arbor at the time, never slamming the draft & having a conversion to pacifism only when his draft board began looking closer at him. In truth, I look at Sobran like I look at all writers; with a giant jaundiced eye & no faith. Problem with you is, you laugh at us who have faith in something other than man; I gotta laugh at you who put faith in ANY public figure, for I know enough about human naure to know not to trust ANYONE, especially those involved with gubbmint. Here is that Murray Rothbard guy Sobran talks about, who apparently is regarded as a founder of the 'Libertarian' movement in the US, or somepin like that. Whatever he is, or was, he certainly has fun deconstructing conservative foolishness in this article about Reagan and the War-State. Pretty good. They can seldom see their own illogic and contradiction. Look at Limburger. Now he's getting another divorce after spending his worthless life railing about the sanctity of marriage and how fags and feminazis were threatening this supposedly cherished way of Murkin life. Somebody on Fark wrote: 'all this guy needs to do now is swallow a hot load of man-goo from an African American and he will officially be the biggest hypocrite in the universe.'
