Perhaps even win! Hahahahahaha Lemmee cut back to 1975 or '76. Some jackoff asked me how the USA lost in Vietnam. My answer? We didn't. The "other guys" wanted to win that much more. End of story. Now, I keep hearing how the Lakers "allowed themselves to be beaten." Really? Perhaps that is why they tossed the damn ball up and had them play. Perhaps the Pistons wanted to win more & were (horrors!) better! Perhaps there's a lesson here and it's a good one. Be careful, be very careful, about thinking that you are the smartest, the greatest, the... INVINCIBLE!!! Cuz, bub, there just may be someone around the corner about to rip off your head and sh*t down your neck. Case in point: Saddam. He was the modern 'Leader of the New Mesopotamia'! Right. Well, he never learned this lesson. Will Gee doubya?! I donno... I do know that I should have bet about 50 bucks on the Pistons but "common sense" overcame me and I'm $300 poorer. Perhaps, ladies & germs, we have learned a lesson? Even the "biggest & baddest" can be beaten? That we cannot take anything for granted Even life, which is so precious but so taken for granted throughout the world. Can we learn from this collosal "upset"? Ok, actually I heard the Pistons were doing great and for your sake I was happy. F LA and Cali. (sorry westerners) But the way I look at this crap is that states like NY and California get multiple teams. No friggin fair. Now if New England had 5 teams instead of 1 for baseball we'd finally win a world series! But, we got the Patriots so I can live without a win from the Bruin's, sox and/or Celtics.
