| Posted By: Kent Posted On: Jul 1, 2004 Views: 258 | Kink Kade I don't know how many of you are familiar with Thomas Kinkade, but he is a cheesy artist very popular in middle America for his homey paintings of cottages and babbling brooks, etc. I saw an ad for a gallery that is doing an exhibition of perversions of his work, where artists paint over top of the bucolic scenes with all manners of violence and over the top action. I'm going to to try to post this pic below, but you know my rate of success at doing pics on this board ain't great. It's hilarious. BTW, it's slightly on topic as there are two women fighting each other beside the river if you look closely enough. |

He's now selling some of his works on the home shopping network:) My wife loves the man's work. I do too. All his paintings have a great quality of lighting and he's more of a scenic artist. His paintings can take you places!!! He has galleries all over the place around Beantown and the cape(Capecod) Actually, I bought my wife a painting he did some years ago. (Can you say CA-CHING!)and then she went out and bought a set of ... how do I explain this .... dish/china style paintings. A set of 3 which we hung over a large window (Which I'm actually looking at) But, i'd never heard of this site where they trash the man's work. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! (LOL) ok its kinda funny. But, not as funny as the "Davey and Goliath" animations with other people's voices dubbed in swearing and talking sexual:) Gee I wonder what my wife would think if I drew nakid chicks wrasslin over her Thomas Kinkad pictures?
