But wait theres more! Lets find out what his very own people think of the man-

Taymour Rowghzaee

Describing the invasion of his Kurdish village, he says Iraqi soldiers "started shooting at us. I saw with my own eyes. They were shooting at kids, at pregnant women."

June 30) -- Taymour Rowghzaee has been waiting 16 years to testify against Saddam Hussein.

He was 12 years old in April 1988, when Iraqi troops herded the entire population of his Kurdish village, Kulajo, into a mass grave and opened fire with machine guns. "They started shooting at us. I saw with my own eyes," said Rowghzaee. "They were shooting at kids, at pregnant women."

Rowghzaee says he was shot in the shoulder by an Iraqi soldier who kicked him into a trench filled with dead bodies before shooting him again in his lower back. He escaped by hiding under a pile of bodies before running to safety. His mother and sisters did not not survive.

Rowghzaee, now 28 and living in Virginia, is one of the few eyewitnesses who survived Saddam's massacres who can testify firsthand that the Iraqi dictator committed mass murder during his 24-year rule.

...........................................

Saddam's bum buddy Chemical Ali-

Al-Majid has in the past denied any involvement in the massacre, but he can be heard on an audiotape planning the attacks.

"I can say I will hit them with the chemicals and kill them all," he says on the tape, speaking in Arabic. "Who is going to say anything? The international community? To hell with the international community."

Human rights groups say it is important that evidence be presented on as many as possible of the many massacres that took place — including those that occurred when Saddam was considered a friend of the United States.

Don't you mean the evil 3?

Come on, the triad of evil is quite widely recognized now as Saddam, Bush & Blair. All have one thing in common, they're all mass murderers.

Cheers

Dio

p.s. I'd include Bin Laden in there, but his kill count is no where near the above three priests of death.

RE: Incase you forget whos the evil one

Yah, we know he's a real waste of oxygen. He called the court proceedings a 'theatre, and the real criminal is Bush'

He got that partly right. Bush is a criminal and this is a kangaroo court show-trial, but that doesn't make Saddam any less a murderous bastard.

It's hard to see how his being removed from power can be anything but a good thing for the Iraqi people, at some point, in the future, we hope. If the Yankees go home, that is. Currently they are executing WAY more people than Saddam did during his reign of fear.

That's the problem with building huge standing armies, politicians cannot resist using them...for "peace"...you understand.

-----------------------

No they are not Leege? What the hell is wrong with you?

Its Saddam's people that are the ones blowing up our men and their own. Its not like its something new its just something we now see because we are there with cameras.

I think although it will possibly always be this way it won't ever be as bad as when Saddam was in power. Lots of the Iraqis you hear complaining about no work, no food only say this to stump the whole operation. And most of them were like that wayyyyy before we got there. They just felt we'd take the place over and suddenly it would become a Las Vegas.

More Iraqis will take a stand against the rebels because they now have their freedom. We've put it in their hands, but are still there to help. Whats wrong with that? If anything we should be the ones complaining seeing its our troops getting wasted not any of yours. Its all coming outta our paychecks not yours.

BTW theres so much footage of Saddam's guys hacking people a part even you will be disgusted by him more than what we are doing.
It shows a typical day in Iraq back when Saddam was in power. Just wait til you see that. Moore should have waited and gotten his hands on that stuff. Then he could have said it was our guys dressed up like towel heads doing the job to the Iraqis.

Not to say I totally agree with everything thats going on over there. Once again we the United States end up helping , getting killed , paying for the war and being hated.
All because countries disagree with what we are doing and tell their people, media to feel the same way.

All of us in the United States know what other countries are doing and showing on their tv sets. We get it 50/50 here and is why I don't watch the news or certain shows too much. Too many people that know what they are talking about :)

And, let's see.....

WHO gave Saddam so many of those swell WMDs that he did have. That would be the USA, back when the Reagan Administration was in bed with Hussein's regime and he was fighting those real nasty Iranians. I'm sure Ronny Dumsfeld hooked them up big time, in his many trips over to Iraq to meet with the Butcher of Baghdad. When one talks of history, one must tell the WHOLE story, now!

Funny how we didn't want to "liberate" the Iraqi people 25 years ago, when our government knew perfectly well the kind of ruthless bastard Saddam Hussein was. Saddy was our "special buddy" back then. We've got Hussein now, but the sad truth is we've ALWAYS had Husein, if ya know what I mean...just ask some top guys in the CIA!

Yeah, global politics are just GREAT! :)

RE: Incase you forget whos the evil one

Well with what was going on with the US and Iran back in the mid 70's on up we would have sided with just about anyone.
Besides this is LONG before Saddam started killing his own people and choosing which types of people survive who lived on his land.
IRAN vs IRAQ
Its a war for once WE didn't want to get involved in back then and your complaining?

No, Killah

That was most certainly NOT before he was murdering his own people. But the Reagan Administration conveniently turned a blind eye to Hussein's atrocities then.
