"Bin Laden" bug

-Does this explain why none of our cuddly right wing rednecks have been around recently.
from the Metro free paper-

E-MAIL ALERT ON "BIN LADEN" BUG

"Net users are being hit by yet another virus after opening a message claiming Osama Bin Laden has commited suicide. Thousands of the hoax E-mails have been sent out to entice readers to open a file that activates malicious software.
The message claims the Al-Qaeda leader`s hanged body was found by journalists with TV news channel CNN. It points to a website where the file of photos can be downloaded.
But in reality, the file contains a "Trojan Horse" virus that can allow hackers to gain remote control of an infected computer.

...oh, dear.......

Well, I got bored with them, wherever they went. It was like trying to explain to the fundy lunatics that there really aren't any 72 virgins.

...You see the problem right there...

"It`s like trying to..." There`s no metaphor low enough to refer to as "It`s like" -It IS explaining how not to be stupid and evil to submissive hell-dwellers. These dorks will defend the rights of whatever demon owns them and their submissive mommy-need for a "leader" till the end. I`ve just made myself depressed by reading more of these clowns online responses to "the documentary film". It`s gone too far now, there`ll have to be a breakdown so massive society will be back to the stone-age before they`ll have to do anything for themselves and stop relying on a parental authority figure to wipe which ever end of their digestive tract needs it. On a brighter note I joined April Hunter`s Yahoo club after I read her saying something on another site about "Come to my site for the sexy photos OR THE POLITICS" (my capitals). She`s billing herself as a WWE wrestler who`s NON STUPID (What an idea!.....it`ll never catch on) -After wading through the usual sychophantic grovelling "Ooh, April, you`re so wonderful!" "Oh, April, You`re dog`s just cacked on the carpet, please let ME wipe it up" interspersed with the usual feeble knee-jerk rationalisations of American rape & torture centre`s - I finally read a message from herself saying "I LIKED the film (F9/11) and there`s too much truth in it to ignore" - And GUESS WHAT???? -All the snivelling retards turned on a dime and started saying "OOh, April You might have a good point there" "Well said, April, I was just going to say that very thing myself" Of course they spend most of their time talking about WWE steroid wrestling, but whadyagonaadoohuh? -Never mind invading Barb`s board, we should all go over there and do....whatever it is we do.

I'm going to the store - Miss me!

I knew that Alphonse’s whole “Farewell my friends. I fear that I shall be walking towards the light soon” routine would not last longer than his court ordered rehab program. This was followed with JSK chiming in that he would be out of town for the Fourth of July weekend. Bringing up the rear was Brian, who posts here even less frequently than Hutch, advising us that he would be going away on vacation for a couple of weeks.

While these little announcements of departure that the neo-conservatives make on a regular basis are becoming the most effective for of sleep aid without a prescription, that last one was comical in its self-importance. How thoughtful was it to prevent this board from deteriorating into endless laments of “Why haven’t we heard from Brian lately?” and “Help us Jeebus. We need our Brian!”

But as soon as I saw what Geordie had written I knew that Alphonse would not resist dipping his toes in the water.

RE: "Bin Laden" bug

I believe you are wrong on Alphonso, Wizzard. And I don't believe that he was the one who posted in this thread. He (ATF) has had medical problems for close to 20 years now. And he was diagnosed with prostate cancer about 2 years ago. We've corresponded for the last 5 years or so via email, and I know that he was in a bad way earlier in the summer. I fear that he is in the hospital.

As far as this board goes..maybe it's run its' course. I mean, how many posts from Legion and Rough can one person take? Just take a look at how many views get read for each thread and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there aren't many people visiting here anymore. I'm a middle of the road, late 30 something USA guy, who votes with my heart, not by party.

Of course, I'm sure that the republicans are happy to have JSK as their spokesperson; about as happy as the democrats are about having Rough speaking for them on this little web board.

Of course, it could be worse. If I lived in Canada, and visited here, I would have to be defending myself from Legions'..woe is me..cynical rants. At least he has the internet, so he can feed his female wrestling fantasy and not be a total recluse.

Is it really any wonder that nobody visits or posts here anymore?

I'm going to the fridge - Remember me!

Well of course it could be someone other than Alphonse. However, 5 minutes after that post was made he logged onto Barb's chat room so the odds are in my favor.

RE: "Bin Laden" bug

Come on, prof. You don't think that people are sick of reading Legion and Roughs posts do you? They've got all the answers, and if they don't, they change the questions. Yes sir ree sir! Two very hip, know it all guys.

RE: "Bin Laden" bug

No one ever did come here. We just started putting opinionated crap here as an alternate to Hoffa's stultifying little gated community. You know where it is, if you want to read the daily ‘Dear Barb, my wife wants me to wrestle a cross dressing transtesticle, what should I do?” deluge of pandering from retards.

Ah, yes, I remember the good old days at Dio HQ when there was four people posting instead of the three it's now dwindled down to.

RE: Down to three is it?

Come on Wizard person! So you saw someone in a "chatroom" and that cofirms the Right Wing Guy is this Alphonse-so.
Hmm.
He's not a true right winger or even a conservative if you read his posts, which I have a couple of times. He is religious, which I'm not, he is always against the government and I'm not and so forth.
Nice try,Sherlock.

RE: RE: RE: "Bin Laden" bug

I doubt its Fonz. True, we don't always see eye to eye but I love ole Fonz and he's certainly not one of these anonymous pussies too chickenshiat to reveal who he is.

Prof, you vote with your heart, as opposed to your...HEAD? And what does your heart tell you about the inherently corrupt Bush Administration? Are you one of these annoying little undecided swing voters?

There are just as many people here as there always were, probably more, though not everyone posts something. Whether you're on the right or left, you pick a side and post away. It's like pro wrasslin' on the internet. Now, I love a good debate as much as the next guy. It's fun to bitchslap guys like Hagar around a bit, when they get too full of their gung ho, neo conservative selves. Good exercise! The Dems should be proud to have me speaking for them. Hell, they've flagrantly stolen several of my best lines at their convention. I should put a copyright on some of this stuff. Cads!

I have been following some of the Democratic Convention this week and must say that Barack Obama is the man to watch! He's quite remarkable and what a great speech he gave. I think that guy will be in the White House someday, if we're lucky!

Ahhhhh..what else? Oh, chris and his little comment. Now, when have I ever done something as underhanded and sneaky as "changing the question"? Would you care to give a few examples? Not my style buddy boy! I always answer every question put to me and then offer a few of my own. I'm quite diplomatic that way!

Speaking of bitchslapping...

Who saw Michael Moore take smarmy Bill O'Reilly to the cleaners, last night? Classic!

RE: "Bin Laden" bug

Rats! I wanted to see that. Moore has been ambushing these talking heads on their own shows lately. They don't want to talk about the questions he asks. Fun to watch em squirm.

Moore v. O'Reilly

They only went at it for about ten minutes but it was a pretty action packed little segment. Quite tense. It was cool because Moore got to ask O'Reilly questions as well. Only fair, right?

One thing about Moore, he can definitely take care of himself. I hadn't seen O'Reilly squirm like that since he had Bill Maher on one time and Maher totally turned the tables on him. One question Moore asked O'Reilly was 'would he send HIS child to defend Fallujah?' Bill was practically speechless (which is rare for that big mouth). Later on O'Reilly would say that Moore just baits people with questions and HE wasn't going to be baited! What an idiot. He looked like a total arse when he didn't answer the question. Like Maher, I don't think you will be seeing Michael Moore on Bill O'Reilly's little dog and pony show again. From what I've seen, O'Reilly generally makes it a point to have guests on who are either dumber than he is or arse kissing milksops (like pretty boy Ben Afleck, who was on the same night and came across as a spineless pussy).

Moore is having a screening of "Fahrenheit 9/11" in Crawford, TX..about 7 miles from Dubya's ranch. Moore even sent the Prez an invitation! The boy's got balls, I'll say that.

RE: Moore vs. O'Reilly

I missed the Moore / O'Reilly confrontation, but the callers on Bill's morning radio show were lauding his performance. Apparently they were watching a different show than the one that you guys saw. Wish I had seen it!

The Bear's been busy of late and not had much time to come here and set everyone straight. But things are calming down around here, so look for me.

I hope all is OK with ATF. I've missed his presence.

One last note, Legion's take on the retards at Barb's board had me on the floor.
