| Posted By: Rough Posted On: Sep 18, 2004 Views: 332 | Minc's going to "name names"! A rather odd and troubling post from Minc, of Mincsgirlz, has appeared over at Bab's Place. Because of the slanderous allegations made against Minc and her family, in the wake of the Carly Brucia tragedy, and subsequent legal action against certain publications, it has been "necessary" for Minc to relunctantly release the names of all her customers. What the??? Barbara quickly responded, asking if it was indeed "necessary" to relinquish the names of customers, since this is the predominant unspoken code of trust that all video producers have with there customers. Releasing names would unequivocally break that trust. I've never purchased a Mincsgirlz tape. Any of you blokes who have may want to get over to Bab's and see what Minc's response to all this is. It doesn't make any sense to me, in the context of a lawsuit Minc may have with, say "The National Enquirer" for instance. Sheeesh, Cat Daddy may have to go into the witness protection program. I guess I've taken it a few ways- 1) someone is interumpting business and bringing "unspeakable acts of defirmation of character" to the company. Which means someone inparticular can be possibly sued. Who we ask? Maybe thats why she's giving the names to her (third) party to check it all out.(a lawyer)Now onto check who bought the video in question. 2) Maybe one of her wrasslers was under age? Place a youth in any site or boarderline adult(ish) video and you've broken the law. Maybe those who bought that vid might recieve "call back" notices? Telling you you have just purchased a vid with an underaged person in it? 3)The person whos name was brought up in the post was underage at the time. And so they wanna know how many bought that video to figure out certain damages? Which seems even more odd because they now released the name of the person? But, knowing if 100 vids were sold and not 10 might help in pending damages. Hmmmm ... I dunno, but if they are going to post something like this people will by all means come to their own conclusions and question what it could be about. The list above doesn't reflect the views of Minc and company! Almost every company has delt with their share of idiots talking crap about them. Rarely if ever it comes to lawsuits etc. If thats the case I can see why a third party would want to look at the names. I just can't see why they'd have it come to that? Consult the website or messageboard the person(s) were posting on. Its very easy if it comes to lawful situations that the hosting company can give the name, area and screen name of the person causing the problem. Without F-ing it up for everyone else. Whats worse is possibly some of the people may recieve snail mail, e-mail or an unwanted phonecall from someone just for buying a video. And some complain about unwanted flyers from companies? Thankfully I've never bought from them. Its not like I don't wish the best for them, but can't see the reasons they'd go about it this way & cause concern for the consumer. JSK |

What the hell is wrong with her? It sounds like she is bringing the suit and for some reason supplying her customer names is going to help that? Words fail me in regard to this idiocy. |

Hey Marty- What are you saying its being done more outta helpfullness to her "cause" than the customers "care"? Maybe. I find it strange to even bring it up on a message board full of you know whos. I don't know Minc's entire story so I won't jump the gun ... then again if I were on her list maybe I would? Yes, I'm sure I would and want to know reasons why.
