Thank You In our ongoing tribute to Richard Reid, that funny looking (o.k., ugly) Brit who tried to explode a moving airplane by virtue of having his tennis shoes explode, the Fonz will go through the motions next month of taking off my shoes so that air traffic cops can be sure I`m not about to blow up a Delta plane, ala Mr. Reid! Now, I have railed against this stuff in the past, but one gets the feeling that Fluffy or WizBang would never get a chance to see wimmin being groped (if even from a distance and, yes if even 76 years of age), so YES, there may be something good coming out of leaving Mohammeds and geeks like Ricky Reid alone whilst molesting gramma but I, for one, don`t quite get it. Must be a LIBERAL thing, ya know...Still... all I have to do is walk around in my JC Penny or Walmart socks; biggest problem will be to break the habit of not tossing out the ones with holes (I tend toward being a pack rat). Removing my baseball cap, they checked my belt and even looked around the area of my zipper and waist. I didn't even blush. Ofcourse they took off my sneakers and thankfully I don't use that area to hide my weed on flights anymore! Every time I opened my suitcase there was "usually" a tag saying - We looked through your bags for security measures etc. Everything was still there and I've heard stories saying otherwise. Ofcourse the only true way to combat terrorists in the air is to beat them senseless like that dumb-ass Reid guy. Yes, I look around at the people going on every flight I do. AND I can see others doing the same. The way I look at is as long as me and maybe 4 other strapping young dudes are on board its the terrorists that should worry.
