Like in FFT, it adds replay value and gives the player freedom!....if they did that...I'd be happy. Also, I must say that FF7 had the best magic system in any game I've ever played, after FF7 I've been disapointed by all other magic systems(and I dont care how fancy the summons look...)! Come to think of it FF7 had the best Limit-Break system of all the FF's...It was simple, effective and cool(I've always wanted to learn the Omnislash in real life..........). FFX had the crapyest LVL system ever, those stupid spheres ****ed me off. I want to get to LVL2 and see the pure energy seeping through every part of my charectors body to shoot through space and blow up the universe one planet at a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... or at least get 100hp 10mp 2str 2def 1dex 2agl...... |

What plot? I haven't found any plot!" After hearing so much of that, I think I might just rent it sometime instead of buying it like I do with most games out an RPG series I like. |

I saw little relation on how it should've been a Final Fantasy game. It's already confirmed it's NOT final, and now they try to make REALASTIC charaters? Am I the only one to find that just WRONG? How bout' Never-ending realism? You buy the game hoping it's something, but it's something else! Thats life; never-ending realism!!!! *gets down from the soap box* |

I highly encourage Square to make brain-twisting plots where you'll go berserk if you don't find out where the hidden esper/gf/whatever Holy Crap is. The problem with 8, and I have said this MAAAAAANY times before, was that they tried to do so much so fast. The junction system was bad, a good idea, but never the less bad. The characters was specialists on different kinds of things, that made the game realistic and that is COMPLETELY out of character when it comes to FF. Fantasy, for crying out loud, fantasy! There are however a good thing about the pre-made-characters, and that is that you pick your favourites and train 'em to living beat-em-up-Gods. Squall/Zell/Irvine... DEADLY. But there are bad things about this as well. When you get your favourites, you NEGLECT the others. And that simply won't do! F-word, gonna take a little rest... I'll be sure to continue this. |

For everybody who thinks the the release of FFX2 is a precursor for a sequal to FF7, it's not! Square has hinted that they will do another sequal to a FF game....FF fanboys/girls are the ones who started the rumor of FF7 being the game that's getting a sequal. Take it light. |

The fact of the matter is, "fanboys" didn't create the rumor of FF7 having a sequel. I've read an article stating that Square was considering it. This article was on RPGamer. I reported it to you guys myself, being hasty because I like FF7. But it has been proven a rumor and the article is now no where to be found. Truth: During an interview some Square programmers said they'd really enjoy making a FF7 sequel. But since they have no say in the matter, it probably won't happen. This news spread from ear to ear, reshapeing as it went along until it ended up in that article on RPGamer. Well, that is what's SUPPOSSED to be the truth. But hey, you really can't trust anything nowadays. |

If they release a paice of crap ff7-2 it will take away from the original... I realy do think it would be great if they modded ff7 and brought it to the PS2 with full 3D landskapes(instead of comp-gen-photos), and added new magic/LVL's above 99/enemies/more dates/more customization..... now, wouldnt that be cool? |
