If the south would stand up

If the south would have one , i think most agree, Things would be differnt, But here is what i have to say about it, and like everyone elses opinion you can take a quarter with it and buy a stick of gum, If we would stand up more in our respective states, use the goverments tools against itself, we would be independant by now, if we as a group actually stand up to our officals, by votes of course, and petiton enough they will have no choice, why do we continue to let "equal rights groups" such as naacp ect tell us what we can and can not do as a people, Ladies and gentlemen all it takes is for us to continue to do nothing and we will end up on the losing end of a country our fathers, grandfathers, and now great grandfathers worked so hard to build. We let half educated lawyers wrap whatever idea they want around some small bit of legislature and enforce it on us, I for one can't stomach it anymore, if you want an example look at the Sanctuary towns across the south harboring illegal aliens that we as the south have to pay for, my state alone Texas pays roughly 4 billion a year, how much more is it with the entire south who bears the brunt of this? is this what we are coming too? i cant show my patriotage, but i can pay for jose hernandez to make my town in to a barrio, this just dosent make sense to me,Ladies and Gentlemen we need to take a stand and hold our representives resoponsible instead of turning a blind eye, instead of bieng worried or intimdated by the so called "equal rights groups" or laws that forbid us from stating what we believe, we need to be there protesting them as they protest, for every bill that gets passed for another we need to be there with two of our own. I'm just a simple soldier, and yes maybe i am on a bit of a soapbox. Im sure there will be people that disagree with this, but I can't keep silent any more as Dixie keeps getting driven down.

RE: If the south would stand up

Friends, we have all been trodden on in recent times-History is judge, jury and executioner to the complacent. Britain failed in her duty to her allies in 1862 when Messrs Mason and Slidell were taken in the course of their legal duties by the yankees in an act of piracy from a Royal Mail steam packet, an act that should surely have brought the Royal Navy and French Regiments to the yankees' shores as allies to you. We failed you, not you us at Sharpsburg. History is also an unforgiving mistress who brooks no mistakes and we all suffer from her fickle temper. However we are unbowed and unbroken by our enemies who took us unawares in the midst of night, and in spite of the traitors who rule unelected here as there, we remember the glory of independence and look again to our old allies for hope. Confusion to our enemies and may God go with you.

RE: If the south would stand up

I'm from northern Wisconsin and have been raised to look at others for their actions and who they are rather than judge by place of origin, belief, or skin color. For that reason I won't categorize myself as a "Yankee, Northerner, etc." but this also means I do not consider people from the southern regions of the U.S. to be "Rebels, Southerners, etc." I consider myself a U.S. citizen just as I consider anyone else in this country regardless of where they're from. On this site it is claimed that the rebel flag is a symbol of freedom and justice, and it is claimed that the "rebels" believe in a true America that the "yankees" have twisted with "tyranny" and oppression. All I ask is that all of the "true Americans" on this site look back on what they've said to realize that the "freedom" they claim to represent is based off of a system that takes freedom from others. If the South is a home of such beauty, fairness, and raw freedom, why is "Jose Hernandez" expected to stay out? Aliens come to America and take the jobs that Americans don't want to do. I suggest before posting again on this site rethink the intelligence of your argument, or at least reinforce what you say by truly supporting the freedom that this country has to offer. The U.S. was built by immigrants and its foundation comes from a mixture of cultures that simply wish to be able to have opportunity to succeed and escape oppression from true tyrants who believe race separates us. We are the human race, and believing that you are above someone because of their place of origin, language, belief, or skin color simply shows that you are the true inferior race. I'm embarrassed to share this country with narrow-minded racists like yourselves.

RE: If the south would stand up

Dear calvin.
This is excatly what im talking about. Jose would be more than welcome. as long as he followed the laws, and came to the country LEGALLY , and had no crimes in his past I like a lot of people would have no problem with it. But unfortunatly that is not the case these days most of the people that come here these days are ILLGEAL ALIENS, do not pay taxes, and yet we have to pay for there education, childcare, medicalcare ect ect and the so called goverment of the U.S. does nothing about it. and as far as the "jobs that most americans dont want to do" that is just lazy people that want somthing for nothing. The society at large now follows the belief that they are owed somthing. they arent. and never will be. so untill that concept is gone from the U.S. then unfortunately, i believe, we are headed for country that is dying.

If they're illegal aliens they're not going to be in our government's system and we would not be paying for their education. I think you should be more worried about your own education, I can't even understand what appears to be an attempt at an intelligent response from you.

RE: If the south would stand up

Well calvin then you obviously do not keep up with current events. If an illegal alien goes to a hospital with no insurance, who do you think eventually pays for the treatment? there are towns throughout the Unieted states that allows them to go on unemployment due to "anchor Babies", who pays for that? and as far as the intellgent conversation, sir with respect, I have a Masters of Science degree, which by the way I worked two jobs while attending college. far be it for me to call you a moron, but if the shoe fits wear it.

RE: RE: If the south would stand up

We in the South should just secede again. But this time, we'll stay seceded. All these Yankees just keep moving to the South and ruining everything, not to mention the illegals. It's time we stood up and gave them a piece of our mind. The South will rise again, if people will stand for what they know is right.

RE: If the south would stand up

With all of your education, grammar seems to have escaped you. And let the south rise, forces of hate will always be shut down.Hate is a primal emotion, therefore keeping it from being intelligently used, especially in governing a country or state.
