That said, if you guys would stop giggling like a bunch of teenaged schoolgirls you'd realise how bad most of these suck. For the sake of being nice, I'll assume at least _some_ of you actually _want_ to work, as opposed to those who are just Natural Born Slackers. At any rate, there are only two even worth arguing over: #9, for it's sheer simplicity and crispness. Short, simple, to-the-point, and attractive (and, let's be honest, it _does_ look like a "logo"). #19, for it's authentic "crest" look, the fact that it, too, is well done, and I get a kick out of the wanker in the bathrobe. I'll admit the "canned person" gag is lost on me, but I'll assume that it is something I might be familiar with if (a) I frequented this site more often that this once, and (b) cared. As for #1, which I see is in contention for the win at the moment... "fanboy giggling". If its creator is an artist by trade it's no wonder he/she/it is unemployed. Plus, Star Wars jokes haven't been funny for something like 15 years now (I think it was the "Vacation" movie that nailed the coffin shut tightly.) As for others: Anything poorly rendered is automatically ignored. This leaves us with: 11: Kinda nice, but a bit bold for a group of guys who can't seem to get jobs. Okay, so some of you are _probably_ trying to get jobs, but the continuing failure isn't represented well enough in 11. Something more like lighting a short-fused firecracker, or running at breakneck speed off of a cliff might be more apropos.... 17: well done, but probably should have used something other than lions, and that shot of the crowd thing from the main page ruins it. Actually, there's like 1 or 2 others than don't completely suck, but you get the drift enough to have stopped reading by now. Then again, you have no jobs, so you have the time to have made it this far, huh? |
