Like many movies, the Ring relies on the audience's ability to suspend their own disbelief. Yes, if you take a scientific, analytical approach to watching it, it's not scary (at all), yet if you're able to stop the incessant analyzation, and just experience the movie, you'll be able to enjoy it.

Have you ever seen some of the action movies. they have so many explosions and crap nowadays it seems impossible. but most ppl still like it right? the Ring was scary, because you have to believe it could happen.maybe they should make one in three-D. that would be cool, with the girl crawling out. Weird Stuff Tho: 1.) What a weirdo. She puts the tape back at the movie place. why didnt she even hide it or like put a note saying, "Do Not Watch" or something? Is She that stupid? Maybe Samara IS her daughter! 2.) Girl in the CLoset: I believe i'm remembering correctly, but wasn't Katie's closet bare? No clothes, no shelves, no hooks? no clothes. she was like a teenager. wat teenagers have a perfect, or at least clean closet? Let Me Think. 3.) How the hell did Samara make the tape? Did her mom throw a tripod and a camera down there too? and a cell phone so she could call the viewers? It's weird. 4.) O yeah, the answer to 2.... about none... there you go Too many ?'s but, i still think its a good movie.
