When it comes to FF they seem like the same thing to me and the newest save 11 and x2(WOMEN!) werent that good imo 1-7 rocks But i think theres much better out there Personal Favorties are the Breath of Fire series. Tales of Destiny's which almost has a record as great as Final Fantasy's but hasnt gotten the recognition i believe it deserves. but the Final Fantasys are good but each 1 has almost the same plot... dont get me wrong above mentioned are the same but the only Final Fantasyies to try some thing new and worked was FF5*the job class* and FF7* the futuristic* other than that its all been done. |

And am I the only one that actually likes X-2? It could have been better, but as far as I know, there hasnt been a game that pulls off the ATB system as well as X-2. |

I haven't really played enough other games to really judge whether it's the best series out there, but I'd think not. Quite good, but I'm sure there are those that are consistently good, whereas there are one or two of the FF games that I can't stand (especially 2j). |

FFVIII-6(Pics looked awesome but the game was....iffy...no MP in the game just drawing magic) FFIX-9.5(Wasnt that bad actually,awesome bkuz they added 2 player function(under Options)And there are alot of characters to be in the party!) FFX-6.5(Spirit Grid!? Yah we'll gain spirit Levels to walk around a big grid) FFX-2-6(You get 3 chicks throughout the whole game that cant equip diferent weapons,can only change job) Other FF Games _______________________________________________ FFTactics-10(Awesome Stradegy Game!) I also have to agree with the other post about Final Fantasy being more of a lable then a series. Other games (fire emblem, breath of fire, xenosaga/gear, front mission) all have something to tie them all together. battle system, storyline, something. all the latest final fantasy's have in common is sucking. shame is they can't let the name die with some dignity left, they just trash it every chance they get |

I'm one of the few people left, it seems, who thinks that FF7 was a bad game. I have noticed something, though. Every time a new Dragon Quest game is released in Japan, people line up for MILES and skip work/school/childbirth to pick up their copy. When a new FF title is released, there might be a small line...nothing spectacular. They even passed a law in Japan that a new DQ cannot be released on a work or school day. That kind of says it all, I guess. |

FF has some really GOOD games in the series (like V, VII, IX and X), but FF1 and 2 weren't all that great. Besides, Wild Arms was the best series, remember? 8P |
| Posted By: Adam Posted On: Apr 20, 2004 Views: 1453 | final fantasy is the best if u look at the game slaes you would find that that dragon quest sells grate and final fantasy sells better then good but the games like diablo 1 and 2 sells crap compared so that is not the best by a long way. so just look at the slaes to find that DRAGON QUEST is THE BEST RPG series (but i think final fantasy is the best) |
