RE: If I could change the world...

Kiki Dee, Bakakage all fall in the same catagory as does Dr.Z. One of the main things that people seem to do incorrectly is choose a side most obviously in one post and attack a fellow supporter in the other so as to appear smarter and above sides. You two talk irrelevantly bringing up subjects with slight if any ties to the discussion at hand so as to try to impress others with your vastness of knowledge, other times you try to correct everyone, mostly with information based of one single observation or a single note of hand-me-down knowledge. You know that when people really start to add the things you say up they will realize the flaw in you.
Kisses,
Sure

RE: If I could change the world...

Nice sure...you doing the same thing you called me out on. Picking out single posts and generalizing them as my character. I play every side. There is nothing so fun and fulfilling as playing the devils advocate. (not literally) So long as there is conflict, there is advancement. well, theoretically. Still have issues such as gangs where no matter the level of conflict they never grow as people. But in wars, we have advancements in medical technology, as well as sometimes devise practical uses for other machinery (i.e. radars set the stage for Microwave ovens) This is because the need is greatest, so must the change. So long as i try to keep the conflict to a cerebral level and dont resort to the lower forms of namecalling and insults, then there should be some room for enlightenment. Or in cases where the person i argue against as correct, they will have thier beliefs re-enforced. Sometimes i play on the loosing team simply to give the other side a challenge they can be proud to have won. You act like i try to say im better, or that i say im perfect. What posts have you read? ive spent as much if not more time bashing on myself than anyone else. Ill admit that i suck. its the first step to recovery lol. All i care is that i dont be brought down to the level of some of these other "intellectual" (sarcasm) posters like Koonkiller and V.2 People who most likely still think "YO MOMMA!" is a legitimate rebuttal to a conversation. And even still, i dont say im a better person than them, but i do wish they would put some honest thought into what they are going to post before they do. Its a good thing to have some arguments on these boards. But dont be so close minded to not accept a word of your opponents thoughts. No one side is correct in any case. As humans we are all flawed, as is our logic. But every side does have some valid points, although sometimes taken to extremes they dont belong as. Just aruge, keep the comments on a thoughtful level, and enjoy.

RE: If I could change the world...

See, you are doing what I said, displaying irrelevant knowledge. You play side's? So you gold yourself as that kind, do those games excite you? I was reluctant to put my opinion up, but it seemed you were supplying to much biased information( Since your sources were obviously limited it mostly ends up bieng one sided). So what am I to say? I don't know whether to feel bad for you, or request your tongue. My only advice is if you give an opinion, mark it as one, rather then the odd loose ends of information which seem to be facts. Ignorance is bliss, but it doesn't make you the cream of the info crop, and inciting debate, which I have not seen you done, does not help you out in the long run or other people, because when there is a heated debate people would choose not to change their minds.

RE: If I could change the world...

I dont regret posting what I did. I feel that way. Mainly its a hatred towards a group of people that I met at one time that happened to be vegitarians. And being that they are amongst the few that I have encountered they are amongst my only impressions of them.

I do beleve what you posted was hypocritical, and at the time I saw it as an attack. So I retorted. we are both arrogent people though, and when views conflict between arogent people it drags on to damn long. **** it. Its ben a long damn week. No hard feelings?

oh, hows it goin sure?

RE: If I could change the world...

Okay PETA dot org, I'm just curious about how you feel about Genesis...the story goes, Adam and Eve (assumed vegetarians) screwed up (interestingly enough, their great sin was eating high-carb fruit, not no-carb meat, the Atkins people would eat that up)and tried to cover themselves up with leaves, but God wasn't pleased with the whole leaf thing so He insisted that an animal had to be sacrificed so that Adam and Eve could have a proper cover of animal skin over their private parts.

Then later God told Moses which animals were acceptable to eat and which ones weren't.

I'm not trying to get all religious on this site, just pointing out on interesting observation in the bible.

To quote a kid from Second Time Around...If it wasn't for Adam and Eve, we would all be playing naked Volleyball.

RE: If I could change the world...

I think I might be insulted that I'm being lumped into a category with Dr. Z. Everything I post is my opinion, and I'm entitled to it, as you are to yours. And I don't really pay all that much attention to the haughty drivel that comes from Dr. Z, which makes me wonder why you're paying so much attention to me.
Furthermore, Sure, I've seen you do some of the same things that you are accusing me and Baka of doing. (I don't, however, mind being in the same category as Baka. I enjoy his posts thoroughly. Even when they ARE kind of rubbing my face in my own humanity. No hard feelings, Baka.)

I only visit this site and post on this message board because I enjoy it. It's shear entertainment for me. I surely don't do it to boost my self image. I don't need this site to do that, and I really don't think I try to sound smarter than anyone else, nor do I claim to be. I believe it was you, Sure, who once accused Aurora of doing that, and I threw my opinion into the pot then, too. She just always sounds that way. Well, so do I. And if you don't like it, tough ****. Get over it, and be more accepting of others' opinions. I'm not perfect, nor have I ever claimed to be. I'm only stating opinions and ideas, which sometimes contradict each other. I have mixed feelings about a lot of things, and I often choose to go with the feeling that aren't in conformance with what everyone else is posting at the time. I agree with Baka; playing the Devil's Advocate is fun. It catches people off guard, and sometimes opens people's minds to different situations. That's all. I'll stop rambling now.
