And to all the people that say, "no one can prove pk doesnt exist" that is utter tosh. It is basically impossible to prove something like that doesnt exist. Its like proving a blue version of me with tentacles doesnt exist in an alter dimension. You cant prove it doesnt exist, but we can be safe to say it doesnt exist. Why hasnt any body with telekinesis come forward, to prove in front of skeptics that they can move things. Why, if it requires mind energy, should you require your hands to be so close? Why hasnt there been a single proof done in front of skeptics in a spontaneous situation, and recorded? If it was true and could be recorded and studied in a lab (when i say lab i dont mean i am not spiritual just that labs are a place where no tricks can be played, and where physical factors (such as heat) can be eliminated). If this happened, it would be on every news channel, it would be the finding of all time. Everyone would want to know how to do it. I am a hopeful person tho. I believe everything can be scientifically explained, science has a spiritual connection, for instance did you know it has been proved in switzerland labs that we are all connected on a molecular level? And has anybody seen "what the bleep do we know?" I came upon this site because i enjoy entertaining the notion that maybe, i could do something incredible. That the human mind is capable of anything. Because i cant see how the human mind is anything ordinary. My conciousness, me as i experience and think about things are not simply atoms undergoing chemical reactions. I hope that pk exists, its just a real shame when total **** heads fake it, or when idiots do something (the psy wheel) without considering a scientific explanation for whats occuring, and jump to the hopeful conclusion that they have powers. |

What happened in keiths videos is radiation, convection, and thermal displacement. Even light has small momentum, and is capable of moving things, that has been proved. the very way in which a psy wheel is shaped is very coinsidental (spl?)seems as it is shaped perfectly to rotate like a turbine from steam. I have seen more incredible things done in Electrostatics lectures than a straw move on a bottle. Why cant someone just move pencil out of a skeptics hand without touching it? |

Seems as i wrote all this prior to viewing the faq. But yeah...i realise the point of this thread may be a bit lost as is the cause for my name so ill restate it. I would like to believe TK exists. As would many people im sure. The idea that we have powers is a nice one. However, i have never seen someone prove it in front of me. Then all these supposed TK gifted people come up with suspicious excuses, "my subconcious wont let me do it in front of other people," if you were truly gifted you would be aiming to find a way around that so you could teach your family and friends how to do it. NOT ONE PERSON HAS BEEN ABLE TO DO A SUCCESSFUL DISPLAY IN FRONT OF SKEPTICS UNDER CONTROLLED MONITORED CONDITIONS. I am forced to believe that most claimed TK gifted people simply entertain wishfull thinking. Believe me, i WISH i could move something with my mind, but i would want to be ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE it is my mind doing it and not other factors, before i proclaim i have powers. If i find a legitimate display of telekenisis then i would be so elated. I would jump right onto it and follow that persons teachings. But i would want to be sure that person is not wasting my time. Hence the reason for proof. there is no need for this "faith" thing. If you show other people that you can do something legitimately then they will know they have the capacity to do it as well, so there is no reason to this "faith" aspect. Isn't it strange how many kids actually believe it exists, it makes me a little concerned about their methods of research and their willingless to be deceived. It think it comes down to their WANTING to believe. If you want to believe something then it's easy to find the required 'proof'. You can only hope none of them ever find their way onto a jury. God help the accused! |

An example of this is of a show I saw the other day. There was this group that would perform these rituals and stick needles and things into the body. The members of the group claimed that their God was enabling this and cause there to be no pain. The fact that they truely believed that their God was keeping them from pain, made there brain actually think there was no pain. Its a crazy thing. It made me sick to watch. This may sound mean, but those people need to be put in a great big room...and then I need to drop a great big nuke on them. |

It seems that you have a very good state of mind to actually be successful in TK ! You will have all your life to test the phenomenon in laboratory with yourself as subject. I can move things without touching them, I do it every day. (just for fun) I would be please to do it for science. Pay me the tikets and I give you a few days (in universitary scientific condition). Or even better, come with a team at Laval University in Québec,Canada. I surely can convice physic departement of some very useful experiments. We could, all together,elaborate protocol. Doing TK is not like being a Basket Star, there are a lot of "Keith" outthere waiting to throw tomatoes. I prefer to keep my energy for people "open minded". I also think science worth it, so in that context i would agree to perform. I have done in public already so i know i can reproduce the experience. By the way, the main reason why some people doing TK are making movies is because some people need to see the results to be able to achieve results. They have to convice themselves that it is possible and seeing it can help. So it is like sharing technique. I do agree that some videos are fake. I know many of them are not and i'am not here to convice anyone. But if you have questions about it, i would be please to give the best answer i can. Ciao Mordak |
