TK Possible

OK, I've read some of the site and some of the "debate". I personally do not believe that anybody on earth has ever done ANY TK at all. However, I personally am not ruling it out that it could never exist on any level. I believe that certain evolutions could occur within organisms to be able to make them exert control over external objects however I do not believe our brains or bodies can do it at all at this stage.

Kieth and other anti-TKers do you exclude the possibility that TK could evolve in the future or just refute that it exists right now?

RE: TK Possible

I was also curious too about the 10% brain utilization argument. I have reading this board thought it more of common knowledge that this was true and haven't really done any research to back it up. Although I know of many documented cased where people have lost considerable amounts of their brain mass and lived perfectly normal lives afterwards. It seemed to be generally accepted that other parts of your brain can pick up the extra duties. I was curious if you have any scientific links or substantiated evidence of disproof to the 10% theory, or is there alternate reasons to these cases in which they have experienced disability due to this brain mass loss? (PS I don't have links to these cases but Im sure I could find them if pressed)

RE: TK Possible

Its not difficult, just Google "we only use 10% of our brain".
See for yourself.
Its just a myth.

RE: TK Possible

thats how i feel about tk, but idk about 10 percent i think thats a myth as well im sure we do not use the full compacity of it but most certainly we use more then 10 percent

RE: TK Possible

We use all of it, every single part of it. CT scans show this time after time, so there is no argument about it at all, but some people have heard the myth and are ignorant of the facts.
Try having any part of your brain removed without it having a detrimental effect on you.
Why do you suppose that surgeons are unable to remove tumours that are deep within the brain? Its because of the damage it would cause just getting to it.
Its amazing how long this particular urban myth has survived, long after medical advances have irrefutably proved it to be wrong.
People love a story like that and are too lazy to check it out, they just repeat it like a parrot.

RE: TK Possible

Yeah I just checked out a few sites. Seems fairly accepted. What a crazy myth that has been perpetuated more than most I've heard.

RE: TK Possible

Jesse,
The only reason this myth has lasted longer than most is because those that believe in the paranormal use it as an excuse for something mysterious...we only use 10% of our brain just imagine what we could be doing with the other 90% etc. etc.
The fact that we know for certain, and have done for a good many years, that this is just a silly myth, does not stop people repeating it, it suits their believes to perpetuate the myth.
Why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

RE: TK Possible

cj,
There you go again with your sweeping unsupported statements trotted out as if they were facts.

"keith your forgeting the possibility that there are untapped human abilitys, and we dont know everything about the human mind" (and some of us can't spell either).

What untapped possibilities? You, and many others just like you, rely on these rather childish arguments in a vain attempt to support an argument that in reality has no support whatsoever.

We don't know everything so therefore every half witted crackpot notion that any half brained nutter dreams up and spouts out has a possibility of being true so we must therefore treat it as though it probably is true. I appreciate that is the model you use, but I prefer to stick to empirical science and facts, and leave the rest to the cuckoo's and fruitcakes, and God knows there are plenty of them out there.

Why don't you go to one of many half witted sites that promotes that sort of drivel. This site is about science and facts.
Beats me why you can't seem to understand that.

RE: RE: TK Possible

like i said i donot believe in ne thing silly.u cannot discount that possiblity ,and the only reason i believe in rv is because it has some evidence to back it up aswell as my own experiances thats proven its reality to me. no rv is not scientific fact but its proving it self to science thats theres somthing more then statisical probability taking place i will not speak on it again and its real tome and thats all that matters and ne real man of science would agree

RE: TK Possible

"any real man of science would agree"

I give up. I told you how to set up a test to see if you had TK, and you said after that you had no control over the psi wheel. Therefore you don't have TK. So now you resort to reverting back to your previous nonsense about remote viewing, and include the quote above.
As I said to you before, the sites that you selected to 'prove' that RV was a 'fact' were sites that only existed to promote that RV was real.
As I said before, that is like going to Ford's and asking them if a Ford car is a good car to buy. Yes, its that stupid!
I refuse to enter this pointless drivel with you again, one more mention of RV and you will be banned from this board, go to the sites you like so much that promote that c r a p, I refuse to have it here when it is not even a topic I have written about.
Go away, your childish arguments are quite honestly way too stupid to engage in and are nothing but a waste of time.

RE: TK Possible

Well, i've been having alot of computer difficulties and I have to say one thing:

"Keith Loserton," how do you feel about yourself?
Switching your perfectly normal last name, whether it be johnson or ackton, and switching it to loserton?
why are you so down on yourself?
I believe in TK but me an keith can coexist pecacefully, because I respect his ideas.
I know that you are actually CJ, just leave.

AH keith mayes, I forgot one thing:

"Though I may not agree with your Ideas, I will defend, to the death, your right to say them."

RE: TK Possible

keith loserton aka hamrato and cj,
I have never pretended to know everything but I do know when I am dealing with a moron, especially one that pretends to be other people.
I can spell, type correctly and understand the proper use of grammar, punctuation and sentence construction. You on the other hand are seriously challenged in that department, so pretending to be someone else is a pretty stupid thing to do, we can spot your grammatical incompetence a mile off!
I suggest you finish your schooling without wasting any more time in the class room worrying about things that don't concern you at your tender age.
First learn to communicate before trying to engage in a debate.
