If it could be demonstrated it would have been already, what difference would say another 50 years make? It's not as though the human race improves its TK skills over time. The claims today are as pathetic now as they were 50 years ago. And how about your own tests in trying to control the direction of movement of the straw under strictly controlled conditions? The fact that you got fed up with it and gave up says it all doesn't it? I'm not getting at you here, just pointing out the obvious. |

Actually, I didn't give up :) I probably shouldn't have to, but I'm going to lay out my troubles for the last 2 years. This is not a means of getting sympathy but simply an illustration of the amount of time I have had available to me. Over the last 2 years I've first had 2 deaths and 2 critical injuries in the family. I've had to babysit the injured family, drive them around, help them get around their own house. Then at the same time, and this is still ongoing, I have been building a house without a contractor. This house has near bankrupted me (and might still) and the previous owner (my father) started it 20 years ago without a home loan. Then at the same time, I've been holding down a job of singlehandedly creating and maintaining a new mobile network testing system. (I'm a software developer) I recently worked consecutive weekends and nights to meet deadlines. And had to cover for colleagues who did not do their part. Now keeping in mind I had all this going on (and I'm not complaining) I did get frustrated at the amount of time I had put in to get to where I was with TK, and then the further effort and time it was going to take to get to a point of it being of any USE to anybody. With the tiny (IMO) possibility that I might be fooling myself in some way or another with my TK, this time seems to be quite valuable to me for the next couple of months at least - to sort out all this crap that I thought would die down a year ago already. |

Placebo, I am sorry to hear of the problems you are having to deal with although I fully realise you are not looking for sympathy. I too have my problems, my wife died unexpectedly 6 months ago. This is reality, **** happens but life goes on. It certainly puts things in perspective. It makes you realise we have to get as much out of our lives as possible. Thinking about things other than ourselves is one way of getting through the crap. |
