It was the principle and attitude upon which this site was created, that gives the user the impression that, "Oh, he certainly disproved any potential possibility that the slightest bit of PK might ever be observed since it doesnt exist in any way". His number of claims are false. Like, there has been no scientific publishments of PK observations. And so on. Search google. |

Until I see someone, with my eyes, do something that I cannot refute, I'll dismiss it as an unknown. As the website says, the burden of proof is not on the skeptic. To disprove something you need evidence that will at the very least prove that there is more than one possible way to reach a certain outcome. I don't doubt that telekinesis is possible on some level. I do however doubt that we know of it, that we can see it, or that we can control it, because I haven't seen any convincing evidence to the contrary. People who claim telekinesis does not exist are not heretics, they don't require burning. If you KNOW it exists, if you are one hundred percent SURE it exists, hell with Randi, go to ANY scientist. If you can at least open the possibility to a scientist, with a good deal of evidence that cannot be forged or otherwise explained, you've won my respect. Any video is by its very nature insufficient. Sure, it can look convincing. It can even look damn real, but then again so can Star Wars. As a writer of fiction I know the importance of a thing called "suspension of disbelief". If you want to open the possibility to the scientific community that telekinesis is anything but a crock, you've got to come up with some hard evidence, live evidence, in a 100% controlled environment. Despite what you may thing, scientists aren't out to get you. If you go to them with something that is truly potent you will get their attention. Unfortunately for people trying to prove something that flies in the face of just about everything we know, there's a lot of stuff you gotta get past. First off, scientists are much smarter than most of us. Hell they're smarter than me and they're smarter than you. They can be wrong, no doubt, and have been before. Telekinesis is a fun thought. It is interesting no doubt, I've been researching it myself. Thing is I am, while not a skeptic, not a blind believer either. Seeing someting on a screen presented through images doesn't mean a thing. I can photoshop myself into movies, I could edit the films, recut entire genres to twist their meanings. I don't think you understand truly how easy it is to create a video that misleads and misinforms. In conclusion, at least I can say I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong. From all I have seen you are not. I probably wasted a bunch of my time typing this, but you cannot go around professing the blind truth of anything. Especially in a field of science. And yes, this is all science, if telekinesis exists I doubt it would be triggered or brought on by any spiritual factor or otherwise. So if you wish to debate, I suggest you first open yourself to the possibility that you are not in fact infallible. If you wish to stay on your soapbox and speak upon deaf ears, continue good sir, because you've done and admirable job so far. |

Until you fully understand how TK actually works. I know that most teenagers that do try to do TK end up dissapointed that they can't get farther then the proof tests the Keith (sorry if I misspelled your name) has talked about on his web page. If you just try to ridicule someone for what they are doing, they are just going to come back and prove you wrong, as unlikely this type of subject could come back and do that. This reminds me of the time everyone was laughing at a farmer in our town who was making the familiar orange cone you see that construction workers use. Everyone in town that he was just being stupid and wasting his time, but now as you can see, he is the one laughing now. So what if that could happen with TK, you'd feel pretty silly huh. Saying all that, I know want to say this. Please, don't start trouble with something that is not your business, that is the reason the US is in Iraq right now becuase our current president can't mind his own god damn business. Now thats that out, I have a video to show you, its not TK, but its a glimpse of whats out there. I don't care if its real or not, i won't come back here becuase something like this is not my business. Just like it shouldn't be anyone else's here. It's impossible to prove that something as tricky as TK(Or evolution) exists because skeptics will try and find ways around it and disprove it, even if there's a unimagineable amount of proof. Those with a negative mindset will just find even more ways to try and disprove it. So stop argueing, or this will never end. |
