RE: Why TK?

Also, both you and Xiro have called each other some type of idiot, however both of your statements are nothing short of opinions or facts that only you know. That and the fact that you guys can't type worth a dime, but yeah: ideas mostly evolved around opinions and what you've heard. I am not excluding myself from this categorization either, but i'm not calling people idiots.

RE: Why TK?

Sorry but I can't edit my posts. Grant, I have a question for you? You say that a magician held his breath underwater for forty days. Because of this statement I consider magicians a source of evidence for your ideas. The let us look at David Blaine. If what we witness magicians do can be considered factual, then he is a perfect example of a telekinetic. His tricks are not things that can be done with "normal" practice. It is nothing short of telekinesis. Watch one of his videos and see for yourself. If you still disagree then the statement of the magician underwater for forty days is a load of crap and can't even be considered supporting evidence.

Oh and that one guy that was trying to bash on Xiro, *is and idiot!!* You call him an idiot but you are the fool that wasted your time just to reply to a civilized discussion not only to vaguely support your side but to decrease whatever intelligence people thought you had. That reply is noteworthy of a 5 year old and should be considered as your final words in life.

Also, keep in mind Keith that I am not trying to change your ideas or where you stand but am merely stating my honest and deeply thought opinion.

RE: Why TK?

You do that. Go experiment and test the theories. Waste your sad pitiful time trying to prove or disprove this phenomenon that your 5 year old brain thinks might be real. Good luck in life my little friend.

RE: Why TK?

OK, now I am a huge beyond huge fan of David Blaine, because I respect what he does and see a lot of inspiration in it (as crazy as some of the thigns he does are). But anyway, his street tricks are not truely magical. And thats obvious to any sane person. When he supposedly levitates there is a way to do it at a certain angle to a person on the street that makes it look like he levitated. Look around online for the technique. Its not hard to do! And if you saw the video where they showed BOTH of his feet coming off the ground, then you, my friend, have seen a studio trick. What I mean is the footage was tampered with and made it to look like he truley levitated about 1 foot of the ground.

Now I am a huge fan of David Blaine, so I'm not saying any of this to put him down or any of his magic.

Getting to the point however, Uzoma you are a crazy bastard and I hate you.

RE: Why TK?

I believe that this whole thing can be summed up with one little sentence.

"Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one."

Now, I have chosen the name "Middle Ground" Because it is my stance on the matter, no one has done anything substancal to prove is disprove the existence of TK, and thus, I have no opinion on the matter.

Now, onto the gradually fading intelligence of this board...

Keith, you insult people, a very difficult way to win people over to your side of thinking.

I am not saying you are the only one who does this, I have seen several of the "TK'ers" as you call them, take the same angle, another reason that I am on middle ground, niether side seems to be that intelligent in normal human interaction.

But as you have said, until someone proves to you that something exists, it doesn't right?

Well from what I can draw from this, you must be Atiest (SP? you know what I mean at any rate.) Because there is no proof of god, the devil, or any other "Forces" Like that, so if you are indeed christian, or any other "Faith", all your areguments in regards to telekinsis can be chalked up to mere hypocrisy.

Don't worry, not going for a god bash, my faith is in question at the moment anyway.

Now, supposing that you are indeed still with me, I'm sure you are, you seem intelligent enough and from what I gather you seem to have a very level head.

But here is a real kicker, if things had came out differently in the past, we may very well write with numbers.

Don't believe me? Prove me wrong. Think about it, it would have been just as possible for people to make 3120 mean the same as cat, the only reason they didn't is because that's the way the dice happened to fall.

Was it more easy to go with words? No, look at the places like Japan use Symbols instead of "Words"

My overall point is, that existence is relitive, there is no "Truth" And there is no "Fantasy" There is only what we and the times dictate as "Truth" and "Fantasy"

Here, It's 2:53 AM, I need some sleep, go read this, it's a good read.

http://www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/horror.html

Anyway, I've done nothing to put off either side of this arguement, only shown both sides that the arguement itself is pointless, if both sides try to flame me...

*Shrugs*

Eh. What do I care, you don't even know who I am.

RE: Why TK?

Uzoma,
You said this....

".....if you could perform acts of telekinesis, would you parade it around for the whole world to see like some type of ignorant child, or keep it to yourself knowing that that alone is the best path?....."

If they want to keep it such a big secret then why all the Tk websites telling the world all the amazing things they can do?

Get real, it's just a bunch of really sad people making out they're something special. It's a shame really.

RE: Why TK?

Ahh, so you are saying it would wisest of me if I were to let the people go on with their petty arguement that niether side can win?

I suppose you are right...

RE: Why TK?

It has been my experience that TKers like to be kicked to death.
Why else would they come on this site, of all sites, to say they have TK?
They love being made to look stupid, which is so easy I'm now actually getting a bit bored with it.
It's not as though any single one of them can come up with a half sensible reason as to why its never been demonstrated. Yawn.

RE: Why TK?

Uzoma,

Your quote "did it ever occur to you that maybe some people who have the ability reufse to display it in the open due to the never ending peace in their life?" What a ridiculous statement, almost split the sides of my chest because I laughed so much.

What are you on about David Blaine holding his breath UNDER water for forty days? Can you even read? I said 'survive with only water for forty days...', how can you say David Blaine is a perfect example of a Telekinetic that is pure nonsence. He's just a very clever man that performs tricks thats all, nothing telekinetic about it. Do you really think he made an elephant disappear? of course he didn't, he tricked you with manipulation to make you believe he did. I don't know the magician's name but about two year ago a magician showed how all magic tricks were performed including an elephant disappearing which was done with lots of mirrors, also levitation and the movement of objects without touching them. Kind of put in perspective how easy TK can be faked. I will find his name and post a link later.

Xiro,

Type in 'David Blaine' and 'London' and you will get plenty of links.

RE: RE: RE: Why TK?

I'm really getting sick of this, but I can't look away :-(

1. Excluding people that simply believe that TK exists and what-not, why would people that claim they have the ability to TK etc., and claim to have reasonably tested their 'abilities' (i.e. not using psi-wheel), and aren't 'insane', come to this, as well as others, to be made fun of, and look like idiots?

2. To primarily Keith and all the other people on this site that seem to laugh at people for wasting so much time, look at what you're doing. Assuming you're right, you're wasting your time on a website telling trying to tell people they're wasting their time.

3. Someone made a comment relating 'aliens' to the field of 'ridiculous' ideas...Well I don't know what you think of as 'aliens', however, it's a virtual certainty that life exists in this vast universe outside of this miniscule solar system we call home.

4. Are you skeptics looking for ways to prove it or merely looking for ways to disprove it? You have to do both.

5. Have you ever met, in real life, someone who claims to possess the ability?

6. Maybe some people on this site could come up with an experiment to challenge some of the alleged TK'ers that visit this site...something that could be controlled, although that might be impossible over the internet.

7. To Keith: you say TK has never been proven. You might be right...you might not. I don't know. Proven to who? You? The scientific community? The Media? This website? I know that you say on your site that just because it hasn't been proven doesn't mean it doesn't exist, however, judging by your redundant posts, you don't seem to live by that. What you should be doing is honestly searching for ways to PROVE TK rather than disprove it. You will find answers a lot faster, or maybe not, but at least you won't seem like an ignorant ass-hole (If you can provide me with decent evidence suggesting you have been actively trying to prove it in a reasonable and objective manner, show me, because I admit, I did not read this entire site.)

8. Keith, you said:

"Andohondae,
You said......
"i am a pyrokenetic and i truly beleive in it though i would enjoy you trying to explain my abilities"

Easy.
You have an over active imagination and need to get a real life."

Any reasonable and objective person would understand my point as said in (8), and therefore, I feel no need for commentary other than pointing out the remarkable similarities in mentality of you and the people you claim to have their 'heads in the sand', which brings me to my next point...

9. You claim that people who believe in TK have their heads in the sand...

This is an opinion, not a fact, but in my OPINION, I think you have your head in the sand, not because you're right or wrong, but just because I think you're an ignorant deuche.

RE: RE: Why TK?

You notice that when the non-TK'ers are shown just how silly they are for argueing a point that they can no more prove than the TK'ers can, how quiet they get.

Personally, I think it's a moment where, for just a second, they realize that is doesn't really matter at all, and that they are shallow people who just want to try to make other's suffer as much as they can by "Disproving" their ideas.

And then the second passes, and they post yet another flame to try and back up an arguement with as little backing as the other side has.

Unmodderated forums are fun to watch.

Though, everything I've said to Keith has been ignored.
