| Posted By: Nightshade Posted On: Jun 12, 2006 Views: 616 | RE: The results..... there you go again assuming i'm a child. i do have a life. i go to college, maintain a 40 hour job, have a girlfriend, go out with my friends, ect... so don't tell me to get a life. it is unfair to call someones beliefs silly, afterall, that is the kind of arrogance that started religious wars (i'll spare the details, you should be able to figure out this one). just because you don't believe doesn't mean it isn't real. accept it. if man can harvest electricity and evolve this much in so little time, why is it so hard to believe in psionics? do you think it is too amazing of a skill for us humans to posses? how do you know what's possible and what's not? by some book? can't you break away and trust your intuition without having to consult to a book? who knows, maybe whoever created us gave us some sort of telekinetic power. we will never know. but, if i and many others have performed it, then i am sticking to my belief. i have seen results, i didn't listen to a MAN MADE book. |

| Posted By: Nightshade Posted On: Jun 14, 2006 Views: 612 | RE: The results..... big mouth? look who's talking-i'm not the one that created a site arrogantly proclaiming that my belief is correct and others are wrong. i have read a thread (if not i will find out where i heard this) where someone offered to show you telekinesis via webcam. you would set up the wheel at your home, and they would move it via the cam. apparently you backed out and downturned the offer. if it wasn't on this site, i appologize, i will find out where i saw it. the reason why i go on about books is because people like you (not you neccesarily, but people LIKE you) debate and argue against telekinesis with their readings from physics books. might i add that some of these books are over 30 years old, and some of the theories used in debate were developed hundreds of years ago. i add this because in roy's thread you said you didn't trust telekinetic research conducted 30 years ago...what's so different about physics theories? i understand that i will never get you to see what i'm seeing, or even research a bit more than you have. and i hope you realize that you will never sway my mind. however, i am glad i got to debate this with you some, i will consider what you have said, but i assure you, i won't put it to use. i hope you do the same. i have tried very hard to be civil, not throwing insults around, you on the other hand, are a different case. once you stop this, i will take what you are saying into more consideration. right now, it's starting to remind me of a child who isn't getting his way. |

Erm, Keith I think most people will be as angry as Nightshade when you hurl insults at them and attack their credibility, especially on the scale you are using. You have not made a single argument against that last post. All you have done is refuse to reply on the topic, and insult Nightshade again. What is your objective? You don´t argue against people´s beliefs, you argue against the man! Saying someone is stupid does not discredit what they say. If you want to win a debate, pick holes in their argument! After all, that´s how barristers attempt to sway the jury. I respect your beliefs, but the way you present them is unbelievable. Why is it that you cannot tolerate people who believe in TK even when they present their opinions in a polite manner? You reply to their posts with arrogance, open hostility and a total lack of manners. Then you are surprised when you receive insults back - look at the way you´ve treated them! If they said that air did not exist and we breathed nothing, you would flame them to high heaven. The reason? Because science has proved it. Keith, as Descartes said, you cannot prove anything except that you exist (I think therefore I am). Don´t you dare say that is incorrect just because I am ´stupid´. PROVE to me that it is incorrect, THEN I will consider your argument. Frankly, I am amazed that so many people have posted on your forum and replied to your posts with such a considerate attitude. Even I, though mildly irate, have refrained from insulting you. The people who have ´closed minds´ as far as you are concerned have been far more open minded on this subject than you think. If you can pick enough holes in their arguments to convince them out of their belief, I´m sure they will have no problem in agreeing with you. However, you have not even attempted to do this. All you have done is refuse to listen to them, insult them and attempt to discredit their arguments by arguing against the man. Keith, unless you start treating people who have different opinions properly and debate with them fairly, you shall get nowhere in life, and may even end up being accused of being racist. Please, stop insulting people. When we show you how rude and inconsiderate you are being, we are trying to help you. You don´t have to believe in TK, that is your choice. But please, please treat others kindly, especially if their opinions differ from yours. |

No problem with that. However, when anybody posts saying they think TK is real, you are rude to them even if they have been polite, as if the fact they disagree with you is offensive in some way. Also, the fact that you brand everybody who believes in tk as ´kids´ and ´stupid´ is hardly a good return when they have sometimes gone out of their way not to be offensive back. Secondly, you refuse to discuss the topic with someone who believes and are only willing to respond in a polite way when either the poster agrees with you or is trying to discuss how something might be faked (and you still aren´t dealing with my question properly). In other words, you are antisocial. Thirdly, you are so quick to condemn. That, in short, is why people who believe in tk have such a hard time tolerating your approach. |
| Posted By: Nightshade Posted On: Jun 20, 2006 Views: 565 | RE: The results..... well, i'm back, and as i thought, you haven't grown up. like woodpecker said, of course ANYONE would have a temper after being immaturely (sp?) insulted constantly when trying to have an intelligent conversation. and yes woodpecker, i do know people (adults) that are psions with degrees in physics, psychology, and even phisiology. thanks for clearing that up. and thanks for "taking my place" while i was gone, you said some things i didn't have the patience to say. you said that you have discussed TK without insults before, why not repeat this on this thread? you also said that you stated your belief, and we need to prove ours to you with evidence and research. well, why don't you disprove TK with VALID evidence and research. i know that it is near impossible to disprove something as little known/accepted as TK, but now you know where we are coming from. we are trying to "prove" or enlighten you about TK, which is nearly impossible. now. TK can't be a belief by english terms since it isn't a "mindset", it is a physical phenomena. if you mean that TK is a theory, then yes, it could be. but from my experience, i don't believe so. and, from my experience here on this forum, i'm sure you will never be swayed in your opinion, which i respected and still (amazingly) respect. i'm sure that if someone spun a psiwheel right in from of you under glass you still wouldn't change your mind. i knew this coming into the debate, hoping for an intelligent conversation/arguement without inuslts. what i didn't know was how rude you would be, and quick to anger when backed in a corner. if you wish to continue this discussion, i will gladly do so in a civilized manner. if you would like to, just post so. but once another insult comes out of your mouth, i'm doing the same thing i did above, and discontinuing the conversation because i have better things to do. this is the deal, take it or leave it. |

From memory the frog was newly dead I believe? If my dog was put in front of the frog's heart it would stop beating just the same, thats what happens to a dying heart.
