| Posted By: Stethoscope Boy Posted On: Dec 13, 2008 Views: 577 | RE: God Someone at my school yesterday (12th grade) told me that he just found out that the story of Adam and Eve is just a myth. Wow, simply wow. It's incredible how many people blindly follow Christianity, probably at least 95 percent of the people who say there Catholic at my school (which is a catholic highschool)don't even know why they believe in the religion. I guess they never just stop and think, they never realize all there doing is believing what other people told them to believe. However, thats what Catholicism and Christianity is, a brainwashing mechanism, whether they are aware of it or not. Christianity has to be right, they don't allow the non existence of God to be studied, and then give people the choice to believe it or not. "Catholicism is right, no question". I sit in my religion class (which you need to take every year in Catholic schools), and watch as my class mates ask desperate questions on whether or not there are going to hell from certain situations, and i guess the thought never arised in there closed little minds, that maybe there isn't a hell. |

I love sleep. haha I was waiting for some one to start talking about God. Ha, I believe in science, really. And unless you can count philosophy as a science, I am a man of that too, though I am very young (15.) People have always said that I speak in a very articulate manner and have a deep insight. BUT, this is besides the point (I ramble easily :p). To me, I believe there is atoms. Atoms, and Ions and everything in between. Electricity and energy is what I am getting at. And, from what I have denominated, all things come down to two different types of energies. Positive, and Negative. And when we die, our "life energies," if you will, will separate between these two groups and is thus then recycled through the life processes. And that's that. Not much to go one but hey, beats an eternity of flame :D |

It was an emergency admitance to hospital, turns out I have had prostate cancer undetected for some years and the cancer has spread to my lower back and around my spine and various other bones. My spine has compressed and I nearly ended up in a wheelchair. I am having radiotherapy and medication and it would seem that they may have it under control, time will tell. I shall continue as I always have and make the most of life. Dont feel sorry for me, I am free of back pain for the first time in years and already walking about a bit, I am lucky to make it to age 63, many don't. Live for the day! |
