We've now installed a new EMAIL CONFIRMATION method. Now when you vote, the ballot will email you a link. Check your email, click on the link, and your vote counts. The same link should work once-a-day. AlSO: We may have to adjust or reset the votes, (but if we do, we will ARCHIVE the ballot as it currently stands). We're also monitoring the COMMENTS now, so it might take a few days for them to be posted. Final Award Decisions will be averaged from the following scources: 1. Ballot #1 - once total 2. Ballot #2 - once per day 3. email votes - webmaster@rockcitynews.com 4. mail in votes - Rock City Awards, 7030 De Longpre Ave, L.A. Just vote every 24hrs. you are not voting correctly. Your concern is way out of wack. some bands have a large following, as they are very well deserving of the votes they are receiving! The bands who are receiving votes are reflected in the fans appreciation of the bands high levels of entertainment value and talent. This may be your opinion, but others have their opinions of their favorite band as well! |

It's common knowledge that if you are a 'friend' to Ruben and/or if you pay $$ or if you are just a 'favorite' of the mag... you win. This contest is total BS. How can certain contestants go from 100 to over 400 votes in 24hrs? Why is it that certain contestants can successfully vote every day and others cannot? Why is it that when fans tell bands that they are voting, the 'current results' don't seem to change? This award is full of sh--t! |
