Keeping in mind that it came out during the Cold War, my vote goes for Weird Al Yankovic's "It's Christmas At Ground Zero". It's about nuclear holocaust during the holiday shopping season. It's the commemoration of Jesus' birth. Radio stations, other than those which are Christian, generally try to avoid songs which talk about the real meaning. That's a tragedy. |
