dude101,

I'll try that next season. I havent rafted in a few years so I've got to get back into shape. I've got a bet on with one of my highschool budys to see me get back to where I was three years ago and race him down Fayette Station Road. It's four miles down, five up, all curvy and steep. Sweet.

RE: A $1.04 Gift Certificate to Starbucks.

When I was 15 and had my learner's permit, my Dad brought me outside one Saturday morning while he was working on the car. He told me to take the spare out of the trunk and put it on the car. I asked why but he said just shut up and do it. So I did. Then he told me to drive it around the block. So I did. Then he told me to put the regular tire back on. I was like, what the **** Dad? He said, now you know how to change a tire, so you won't be a helpless little bitch when you actually get a flat. And I eventually did get a flat, so it turned out to be a usefull lesson.

Also, once in college we had a 4 kegger at my house and I was wasted as ****, and this one kid came up to me and said, "Dude, I think your toilet is broken." So I went into the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. Bombed as I was, I took the lid off the toilet. The piece that attached from the flusher handle to the piece that pulls up to release the water had snapped, as it was rubber. So I ever so carefully tied the two ends back together. Voila, the toilet was fixed. I was pretty proud of myself in my drunken state to be so handy.

Even though you are impersonating me, that was a good story. Changing tires and fixing toilets are very easy things to do. What next. Is he going to tell us how his shoe came untied today at work and he fixed it all by himself?
