RE: Politics

Shure we can. Our Grandfathers died for my right to vote or not. Besides, I'm in WV. My vote didn't matter anyway.

(I'd have voted for Kerry if I'd have registered in time, bad excuse, whatever.)

I don't like the Bush Manarchy thing. Thank god he didn't have any sons. (yes, I to hope to have a female pres., but not one with the Bush blood line)

What bothers me most about him is the way the "war on terror" thing is being used as an excuse for cheap oil.

We go into a country to find WMD. We find no WMD, but it's ok, we don't need them anymore, we have the guy that has them, or, well whatever.

The axis of evil. North Korea, the asian elvis inpersonator winner, actualy has WMD. Said, "I have WMD, suck my dick, kiss my ass. skrew ha ha" (Louis Black gets credits) But we are telling the world that we'd rather play hide and seek.

Kerry might have been just as bad. But he would have helped stop mountain top removal here in the states. That alone gets him my vote.

Putting everything else aside, we need to pull some of our troups from a few places and do something, dare I say, noble, for a change. After the recent tusami lost of people could use our help.

RE: Politics

Are you saying that we need to become isolationists? Pull out troops out of the War on Terror? Weaken our position in the world so that more terror attacks happen here on US Soil? Weapons of Mass Distruction -- if they had them, they moved them. Look at that nut Sadam, he would allow inspectors in, then kick them out, then allow them in, and kick them out. He moved them to Jordon, where he has a cousin in power, and is holding them for the next Allah-led Jihad.

You are crazy as batman. All we need are more bleeding hearts like you. Just go ahead and hold hands with the communistic views of the Clintons and Micheal Moore.

I still say, if you did not vote, then you can't bitch, and if you could not have gotten out to register (you can do it online) then you are a looser. If you voted, then you could bitch, but since you did not, then shut the F**k up. You are crazy as batman, you truly are.

RE: Politics

Jes... Why does everybody take an extreme view to things?

"Weapons of Mass Distruction -- if they had them, they moved them"

Good excuse. We have spy satalites taking pictures of that place all the time. (thats how Blixx got those pictures of WMD, remember) I think a caravan of trucks leaving these "WMD sites" might through an alarm somewhere, don't you think.

"Pull out troops out of the War on Terror?"

First off, it's mainly about the oil. You know that as well as I do. North Korea is a bigger threat to us than the middle east. Second, re-read my post. "

"Putting everything else aside, we need to pull some of our troups from a few places and do something, dare I say, noble, for a change. After the recent tusami lost of people could use our help."

I don't mean all of our troups, they are spread thin already, but if we won the war over there why do we need all those troups there? I'm just saying that some other places realy need our help now.

Sadam, we all hate him. Any one of us said that if he came near us we'd beat the **** out of him. He isn't the point. If he was then we'd be out of there already.

Micheal Moore, I've never seen his movie, I'd rather not see it. He seems to be a prick. His movie was ill timed. I just want the info, not a movie about it.

And whats up with this Batman ****? Are you still ****ed of at him Robbin?

RE: Politics

What the hell.

I think your politics are nuts. The Tsunami is being taken care by all the aid and care we and other nations have sent to the affected countries. They will survive.

As far as the War on Terror. Yes, Korea is a threat, as is India, and Pakistan, but they are not activly making threats on US soil, as the extremist muslim nations (note, not all muslims are extremists).

Oil is on the way out, granted we need oil to get us through the transition, but I think in my life time we will live in a society that is fossil fuel free. It is a concern, but not the MAJOR concern.

As far as Batman is concerned, I am not Robin, and I am not ****ed at Batman. Batman is just crazy! Really, who would wonder around in tights, with a mask on fighting Penguins? The whole super-hero thing is just too much for anyone to bare.

RE: Politics

Then tell me Dragonmaster...

What would be your idea of a perfect world. What should the Bush Admin do, granted you did not vote, and you wanted Kerry, or would Nader have been more your style, and you really don't have a right to bitch?

What?

I just asked you a simple question. You have an idea, and I guess I want to hear it.

RE: Politics

Just to add to this political roundtable, I wanted to vote for Kerry. I didn't because I'm not old enough to vote yet, but I will be by 2008. Kerry is a flip-flopper, but he's a lot smarter than Bush, didn't try to drag us into a war over oil, and has no connections to the Saudis (that I know of.) He also thinks for himself, and unlike Bush, he is no homophobe. And for anybody who thinks his Vietnam War experience was nothing worth mentioning, see the documentary "Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry" sometime.

And though I agree with a lot of what Dragonmaster said, that is some of the worst spelling and grammar I've ever seen.

RE: Politics

You both are riding the crazy train. You're just on opposite sides.

A few notes on this debate:

My one grandfather died of kidney failure. The others of heart related problems.

There is no such thing as a Manarchy.

There is no cheap oil. It still costs almost $2 for premium.

We are threatened by terrorists because we are not isolationists. Becoming so would not increase our risk.

There is no evidence that WMD were moved to Jordan.

Dragonmaster is far crazier than Batman

There is a distinct difference between bleeding heart liberalism and communism. There is no difference between fanaticism, no matter what wing you flap.

Everyone does not take extreme views of things. It only seems that way because people with extreme views want to share their views with everyone they can as often as they can.

We do not have any "spy satalites"

We have troops in the Indian Ocean. One of our helicoptors crashed yesterday while working on relief efforts.

No Muslim nation has threatened our soil.

Oil will not be 'out' for at least 50 years. Regardless, OPEC is really of no concern since Russia and the Baltic states have the largest oil reserves in the world.

Nobody has to bare a super-hero thing. That would be too much to bear.

Actually, anyone that pays taxes has a right to bitch.

You can't loose an argument.
