| Posted By: JACOB Posted On: May 28, 2005 Views: 3124 | summoners well i think both of you guys are right in a way:terra may not be a summoner yet all ff6 characters(including terra)can have the ability to summon,also she is half esper so she is in a way a summon beast(i just call any summoner's summon a summon beast but i agree with you that in ff4 they are called phantom beasts,ff5 and ff6 espers,ff8 guardian forces,ff9 eidilons or however it's spelt,ff10 aeons, and ff11 avatars. so i think terra is both in a way each a summoner and a summon beast. |

She is a summon, if anything. Someone said that the Espers only listen to Terra, and that's why she's a summoner, but that's like saying Mauduin's a summoner because they listen to him. I agree with the question: Where are the other summoners? Dagger, Eiko, and Yuna are all summoners no matter how you look at it, they would have made this poll much more accurate... |

And summons can be use by everybody in FF6 but Terra is not a summoner by heart. Rydia is a summoner by heart so my vote goes to her. That's not the only reason, mind you. You should have replaced Terra with Eiko, Garnet, or Yuna. Nobody in FF6 is considered a summoner just like FF7 and FF8. |

If you're referring to gameplay, then Terra should BE a summon, not do summons since she can't do anything in the way of summoning that Cyan, for example, couldn't do whereas Rydia is a full-scale summoner. Now in the plotline, one could argue that Terra's close enough to be a summoner since she's the one that enabled the espers to enter the world from their world, but I myself don't consider that to be summoning since Terra counts, for all purposes, as one of them in the first place. |
